Brown Ajah RP - open to all (if there is interest shown)

With the latest additions of very high quality writers I am inspired to organise a first Brown Ajah open RP.

 

But first, I'd like to see if there is an interest for this type of RP among our Novices and Accepteds, since this will be mainly focussing on them.

 

I'm open to suggestions on the type of RP this will be. We can do anything from 'a day at the Tower Library' to an open talk on the garden grounds of the Tower.

Most definitely interested, since my character Bennu has been aimed at the Brown since she hit the Tower!

I'm currently finishing up posting her Arches (one...more...section!) so she'll be an Accepted for you to work with.

Hmmm, not really sure. You mean during this open RP or in general as a Brown?

 

For this open RP I'm up for any idea that is offered, really. So long as it is accessible to all to join in on it, since it's an 'open' RP after all. So like I said, anything from a day in the library to an 'on the spot' gathering in the Tower Guarden. If it's only with Accepted, we can take a trip to the city too.

Well, I'm definitely up for whatever. Bennu will be falling all over herself to impress the Brown. :) Maybe an impromptu lesson in a new weave?

A trip to the city will be good if it's Accepted. She really needs to get her head out of her books and live a little.

Elin would join such an outing... though, she'll likely feel a bit out of place with so much Brownishness going on.

Mystica, is there any way you could see to get Bennu permission to study ter'angreals so she can discover her talent, or can I just RP that I did? I was gonna whip that out in my Turning of the Wheel writeup.

Here is an idea for this RP, though I am open to suggestions or other ideas, so feel free to post them if you have them. My brain's old ;) Can't keep up with them young cells anymore.

 

 

Carina and Lorraine are enjoying a quiet walk in the Tower gardens when an Accepted bumps in to Carina, not seeing where she went as she's got her nose so far in her books her eyes are looking crooked. The girl gets a talking to by Lorraine and Carina feels the need to soften the blow a bit by inquiring after the girl's studies. They get talking and the girl starts asking questions about the Brown Ajah. They settle on a bench in the garden and more and more Accepteds and Novices join in on the conversation, turning it into a pic-nic type thing, when one of the Sisters sends some of them to go fetch some snacks and drinks. And stuff happens

 

 

 

That something you guys could work with? Feel free to take it apart! I'd like us to have a beginning and a general outline of how this will go AND an ending, so we don't end up with another open-ended RP. lol

Is it just me, or does anyone else see Bennu being the one to bump into the sisters? Elin would definitely join to ask questions, maybe try to step in to deflect some of the Aes Sedai's anger. I can see her asking what purpose the Browns serve in the "real world" once they move into the discussion phase of the conversation.

I will happily volunteer to fall on this grenade. I could tie it to the Library thread, Phe, where she's out and about in the garden reading something on Corinin Nedeal and crashes into the Browns. Of course she will not say "Oh hai I am doing this research to help a friend get into the World of Dreams" because that could get a 'not a chance, Accepted' - she could just say that the Aes Sedai seems to be a perfect example of a Brown, and ask if she's right about that, which could segue into What Is The Purpose Of Brown .

 

Just allow Ben to be at least 50 feet away when Elin asks that 'real world' question. You know, head start and all. :P
