Enjoying the slower music, Kemian retreated to the bar for a sip of his drink. Surveying the room he was pleased to see people enjoying the dance and the drink.

 

Setting down his own drink Kemian wandered the room looking for the gracious hostess to convey his thanks for the hard work in setting up such a wonderful gathering

Lance, i agree, lets let them have their fun! Been there done that wrote the book, got the tee shirt and made the movie.. ;)

 

Channels some air and trips TMD iup so that he goes flying.

Alright Ashaman mine, tis time we take a moment to just enjoy the splendor and watch the entertainment. *glances at the overly stowic TMDHamster and giggles and comments* Lovely choice of a video game character to emulate if I do say so myself. ^^

 

*leads the way over to some rather comfey chairs and settles down with Al Jenn*

Ikkarus nods in understanding to Lance.

 

"Yes, it is quite nice, the music. It is very inspiring to the passions. That is what all music should be."

 

Retrieving one of the proffered drinks, nodding to Kemian in passing, he takes a deep quaff.

 

"Wow! That is some heady stuff ! This is such a great party ! We have Master Dude tripping even though he is sitting down and every other thing we can possibly hope for ! Fantastic !"

 

Hiccuping, Ikkarus makes his way towards a secluded area.

 

"Um, I need a moment to collect myself. Hold on."

Realizes she is still standing by the door, and goes over to an empty table to take a seat. "I never realized before now how much fun these things are to watch too."

[Kemian]

Kemian returns the nod to Ikkarus as he staggers by looking a little worse for wear. Wonder if i still have that handy bucket just incase...

 

Accepting another drink from Charis he leans back against the bar and returns to watching the intermingling

Mae gulps a good half the hardy (Hearty? Hardy?) beverage down and makes her way to the tables that are practically ready to fall in on themselves from the ammount of delicacies placed upon them, and helps herself to Almond cookies dipped in chocolate. "Yummy!" she says nibbling and sipping on her drink as she heads to the bar.

 

"Heres a song even you grannies and grampas can shuffle to!"

Surveying the room, Lance spies Charis with the beverages. He gladly accepts a second foaming flagon.

 

I'd like to repeat my thanks to you for hosting such a splendid soiree, fair maiden. Should your hostess duties permit you the time, I offer to you my service, poor though it may be, for a dance.

 

As he hears the newest musical offering, Lance wends his way to Mae.

 

A splendid choice of song, miss. If your powers of persuasion hold far enough with them, perhaps you could convince then to play one more song. Mayhap, "Rocky Racoon"?

Ikkarus comes back into the main area, looking gray, but now certainly unimpaired of senses.

 

"I am good. What did I miss ?"

 

He stops to listen to the music, and purses his lips pensively.

 

"Hmmm. Well, the Beatles are...the Beatles, I suppose."

 

After gleaning word of the missed conversation, Ikkarus says tentively,

 

"I do not ode to the Shadows, but...the Master Dude stepped into the corner, but it is not specified if he sat down afterwards or remained on his feet. It can be assumed he was still standing because no one could see otherwise, but there is a margin for open interpretation because of that lack. Until he himself said he had been sitting down; he is the only one who can verify his own actions, and so what he says must be set as precedent. ...Ugh. I do not feel like thinking about logic right now . I ought to go get smashed again."

 

He wanders off looking for another drink or two. Or three.
