Not nearly enough time to give an entire amazing treatment to the massive song, and I've only barely gave thought to who amongst us would sing which parts.  But ah well, an attempt had to be made!

Another day, until the backup date,

This neverending road to DM Eight .

These Mods have finally made the call to switch over once and for all.

One day more.

 

Newbie:

I did not join until today.

How can I post when we are moving?

 

Warder:

One Day More.

 

Newbie 1 and 2:

Tomorrow  all your posts will be saved away.

And yet the new DM will not have started.

 

Lurker:

One more day lurking the site

 

Newbie 1 and 2:

Will we ever read again?

One more day with me not sharing.

  Over many a monotonous task of 'usergroup purges galore',

  While I typed, hands a-flying, frustrated and nearly crying;

  Crying because I had but five minutes more.

  "'Tis finished," I exclaimed, "and not one second before."

For then quoth the server, "404".

I liked the narrative and the poem. You both are quite talented you know.

 

I would just recommend to everyone to go about your normal lives and ignore the 'not saving' thing. If something happens that you want archived forever just copy it over to the new DM in the 2 weeks overlap of the two sites.
