Red is acting really defensive, which can mean a passionate townie or a scared scum. She was pointed out as belonging to the party who, thus far, has held exclusively mafia. We all know there are still 7 Mafia in this game. Red's lynch gives us potential info about Alys and Dae. For the moment I'm more comfortable with a Red lynch so [glow=red,2,300]Red[/glow] it is.

There were black hearts surrounding the Minister, and black hearts surrounding the Captain ho had claimed Beva Perrada.

 

Interestingly, there were black hearts surrounding the challenger as well, the Bova Perrada. Those black hearts grew until their light threatened to swallow the pale blue that surrounded the woman, and she realized the trap without a moment to spare…pulling back and letting the light from the stone withdraw back into the crystal. Safe from the other stone user, she hoped.

 

As it doesn't say anything about being more Black hearts around the Bova Peradda, what it does suggest is that one of those was using a bonestone, maybe even the same one!

 

I think there is something you've forgotten, especially those that say about Red not having a faction. This is mafia, and how many of you played a vanilla townie with no role/faction etc! There may just be one of those (or a few) in this game too!

 

Doesn't stop me thinking that her attack on Aemon is a little odd. I, for one think he did the second best thing possible. The first would have been to throw it away to begin with, but that doesn't make him scum. I take it Wombat actually confirmed he was on on team with him, on the thread? I'm sure he did, but just wondering in case I was going mad!

 

If he did then he is more of confirmed innocent than Red, Aly or anyone else (well about the same as Danya!)

I' pretty sure Wombat did say he was on the team with Aemon.

 

We have roughly 7-8 hours until deadline and if Wes were to call it right now, Alys would still die because she has the most votes. I'm just pointing this out to the people who unvote alys but didn't vote for someone else (like me). So to remedy that on my part [glow=red,2,300]Red[/glow]

Talya, you forget that Red was viewed twice.

 

Aemon says he viewed her as Bonda Perrada on Night 1.

Dae says he viewed her as Beva Perrada on Night 2.

 

Viewings reveal factions.  DPR has told everyone in the game (that I know of) what their faction is.  It's a political-themed game, with the factions playing a major role.  All of this suggests that everyone is part of a faction.  I think she's lying, and I can only think of one reason that she would do so.

I'm becoming less certain about lynching people who have a counterclaim or confusion about which faction they're a part of as more and more people who fit that description come to light.  Either we have some liars or a framer/redirecter, etc but right now that's not enough for me.

Even if there was some issue with her faction being left out of her role PM, there's been plenty of time to PM and ask Wes what's up.  The vote on Aemon also irks me because IMO he made the best choice he could and of course the scene would show Wombat not really wanting it.  Who would want to hold the bomb that might or might not explode?

Pookie you make a good point, why hasn't Red questioned Wes on this. It's one of the first things i would ahve done, especially all the talk that has gone on about it! Earlier we were discussing there being three factions, Beva, bova and Captains (after Bela was killed) and yet she doesn't wonder about her faction, and she was one of those most active about it!

 

Thats made my mind up, plus I want to keep Alys around for a little loonger at least ;)

Finished rereading.  Couple of things to address in recent pages that I apparently missed the first time.

 

I can tell you that Wombats roleblocking power came from a godstone. I believe there are more godstone powers out there and I hope they are used wisely. For those of you thinking I am scum for what happened, I want to remind you that in Wes' original Call and Response post it states that I had no idea what the stone would do. Also, please read the scene. This is not the way a scum would react to the death of an innocent and a teammate.

Could you tell us who Wombat targeted?

 

As for Alys making sense...not so much. She refused and refused to say which faction she was in until someone let slip the minister's men. I don't trust her at all.

The only catch is that from the various posts on the subject, it seems that Minister's Men is one faction and Beva Perrada is another.  She claims Beva Perrada, not Minister's Men IIRC.  Of course, she could be lying about viewing Barm and she could have viewed someone who was Beva Perrada instead.  I don't trust her either yet, but I hesitate to vote for her today when one of the major reasons is Barm's viewing and he himself isn't confident enough in it.

I also find it odd that Red doesn't know her faction, Lily.  Maybe her faction is "Uber Evil Amber Liquid Drinking Manipulating Baddies" and she can't think of a good fake claim.  Then again, how hard is it to claim Captain?  Maybe she doesn't know her faction =S

 

Wombat, why would you find that weird.  You’ve played in enough games to know my views on fake role claims, that applies to faction claims in this game.  It’s just too risky to fake claim anything because you can be outed so easily.

Metagaming as defense = weak, weak, weak.  I'm even more confident in my vote now.

LOL, between all the possible factions here and two other games I'm in right now I'm afraid I'll post in the wrong game!

 

That would 5 or 6 in the captains to start with. and maybe 5 in the bonda (if we can believe all these possible viewings which are clearly in question) that could be a reasonable balance, if maybe the other manipulators were scattered through the remaining 4 teams.

I am voting [glow=red,2,300]Red[/glow] because of her failure to get her faction...I believe she is just trying to hide it.  Also because of her defensiveness about Verbal's remark on her typo. 

 

I am curious as to who these spies are.  Did I miss where that was posted or not?  It is very important, if you are in a group, to know which one is the spy and I can't see an innocent being in with the mafia, so that leaves the option of mafia being with the town.

As there are many factions, it may just be a spy in that faction, doesn't mean they are Mafia. I think someone viewed someone and it said that!

yeah, thats the part i was talking about.  had to go find it and re-read it though to make sure.  it was the fact that the veiwer found the black heart surrounding the Bova to be interesting and that they set the trap around the Bova that stood out to me.  when i read it the first time, i think had saw "more black hearts surrounding the captian" so that was obvious a mistake on my behalf.

i'm metagamming myself.  you and i haven't played many of these games together but you'll learn that imo false role revealing is more hazardous than helpful becuase it can be so easily disproved.  there are some instances, like trying to flush out a finder if your scum, but for the most part it only gets you lynched in the end.

i did ask what it meant and was told it depends on if & which bonestone i recieve.  theres nothing to hide about that.

 

and no Tigs, i was being defensive with Aemon, i was actually embarassed by the typo because of the wordit ended up spelling and didn't want him to think i was tryign to insult him  :-[  i'm actually still embarassed abotu that too
