I just wanted to post this to see if anyone can see any correlations between the two votes. We have now gone 2 days without a lynch. I (obviously) am glad that I did not get lynched, but we do need to follow through or the scum is going to take us out with no trouble. Things we know:

 

The nice thing about Standard games (for the town, anyway) is that there are only so many setups the mod has to choose from. This is the only one with a Tracker.

1 Doc (?)

1 Vig (Aemon)

3 Mafia (?, ?, ?)

 

So, that was a vig boo-boo. Whoever you are, don't feel bad. I did that in Alanna's last game. Vig is a hard role, I think.

 

We still have 5 vanilla townies, the doc and all the mafia. I only have 2 kills left in me, then I turn vanilla. I am willing to let the town choose the target for me if that's the way you want to go.

 

Rose seems to be claiming Friar Tuck unless I am completely wrong (haven't seen any form of Robin Hood in a long time). I'm pretty sure that would be a vanilla role. Especially asshe is advertising and the only power role left is the doc. My personal instinct is to go for Player because of voting me with no reason given. On the other hand, my push to lynch Pookie hasn't won me any friends, either. I'll wait to hear what the town says before making a decision. If you like, we can vote on who you want me to kill.

I'll admit, I had the opportunity to hammer Aemon and didn't take it.  When Pete was NK'd I believed it was either Aemon or someone convinced by Aemon.  The people who are actually playing this game right now don't seem like folks I'd expect to be easily swayed without evidence.  Aemon's been playing like he's roled (the "man on a mission" feel to his posts) so I believe his claim.  I still think a no lynch is better than killing an innocent for the mafia if we just can't decide who is mafia quick enough.

 

Player also voted for me with no reason given beyond "we need to get this moving".  As did Bela, who didn't vote day 2.  Talya, Lily and Tigs I'm not sure about, but Talya pings me the hardest of those.  I currently believe Rose and Lia to be innocent, though I'm keeping my eye on Rose since both bandwagons seemed to really get rolling after her vote each time.  If I'm going purely based on voting patterns, I'd pick Player, Tigs, and Rose as the 3 mafia, but of those three I'm least suspicious of Rose, as I lean towards believing her roleplay role claim thingies.  IF all 3 mafia were on my bandwagon, I can see how they might want to avoid doing that again so they might not have necessarily all voted for Aemon.

 

My order of most suspicious to least:  Player, Talya, Tigs, Bela, Lily, Rose, Som1, Lia, Aemon.  Rose and Lily are neck and neck.  I'm sure I'd suspect Bela more if she were around.  :P

I dont know how I missed this. I sent a PM to Alanna,but I guess she hasnt received it yet. I am going on LOA,starting from tomorrow,it is not clear that I can play or not.My finals are starting this week,and I dont really know if I ever be able to turn on the computer.(seems like I will ;D).I will do what I can to keep up with the game if Alanna cant replace me.

I've bolded the names, I think you need to get your story straight before you post. How can you be suspicious of people and then not have them as Mafia in your list.

 

Anyway, Player does seem to have popped on the end of both votes. Unfortuantely we have no lynch to know the true alignment of Pookie nor Aemon to gain some real info. I know you say you are innocent Pookie, but we only have your word for that and I for one don't trust that 100%. It could have been Aemon pushing for your vote to get some info, as that would give us something from both days voting to see who did what. But that is just a guess.

Of course it could have been that the reason people didn't jump ship to lynch you day one is that you are mafia and they didn't want to lynch their own, of course it could be them setting you up to look like that too.

 

I have a feeling that Aemon is telling the truth (and no I don't believe it 100%) mainly because of Pete on day one.

 

I'm thinking now either Player or Pookie :-\

At this point, I would be more comfortable targeting player, Talya. I think taking out player would reveal more information. If player flips mafia, it would be a pretty good bet that Pookie is innocent. If he flips innocent, we can always look at Pookie again in the morning. I'm also not sure I buy Rose's character hints.

I did specify that the first list (Player, Tigs, and Rose) was going purely off of votes and the second list was everything in the game.  I don't think it's inconsistant to have differing opinions based on which information you're using to make your opinions.

I'm confused about your post Pookie...what exactly is it that makes you suspicious of me?  You are most suspicious of Talya but you didn't list her with mafia..I know you "explained" that but it just seems to me that you are trying to say whatever pops into your head just to seem like you are trying to do some good for the town.

Morning breaks over the dark and gloomy castle. No one could agree on who might be a traitor among them yesterday, and tensions and squabbling continued to run high through the night. Nevertheless, most everyone slept at some point, and now they all woke, fearing another death.

 

The first body found is another outlaw, one of their own. Like Robin, he appears to have been run through with a sword, and left to die in the castle corridor. Although everyone is grieved to lose another,  it is sadly fitting that Mutch would follow into death so soon after his best friend.

 

(Som1else) Mutch, Innocent Outlaw, has been nightkilled.

 

Shortly after discovering Mutch’s body, one of the outlaws cries out, drawing everyone attention. Everyone fears they have lost yet another - but then they realize that this dead man isn’t wearing the simple green-and-brown clothing of an outlaw. He’s wearing hulking armor. He’s been killed by an arrow through his eye.

 

(Player) Guy of Gisbourne, Mafia, has been nightkilled.

MODSPEAK: I am currently trying to replace Bela. In the meanwhile, get to lynching! Activity in general has been a little low in this game. I apologize, because it's partly my fault; while I wouldn't say I've been an inactive mod, I haven't done much to foster excitement and activity. You all seem to get pretty into debating during the night, but I don't want to have another game day like the last one. So please, don't wait until the last few hours of the day to try and lynch someone!
