Lav, Tigs and myself all lost our vote by doing something. It was, in that regard, self-inflicted. We did not know what would happen when we acted. I am wondering if: A) someone is giving Pookie PRs B) Why only Pookie  C) if it was self-inflicted (like the lost votes) why do it again?

Well, I'm a little late in all my games today. Hope it works out for us.

The old man leaned forward, grinning, eyes alight with secret fire.  At Lavinya's words I strode forward, Ankh raised to end the day, and we dragged her to a corner and butchered her like a hog.  She squealed like one, too.  And that was the end of the Cthulhu Cult in Fiddlesmouth.

 

But not the end of everything, oh no.

 

With her dying breath, Danya gasped the words - In his house at Ryleh, Cthulhu waits, dreaming - and as her blood pooled on the cobbles a great, all-devouring blackness swept down.  I could feel it pressing against me, against all of us, looking for a way in - but it could not find one.  Pookie'd been right; with Anoxanmore dead, that door was closed to Cthulhu.

 

I still don't know why I searched her body.  We knew she was the last Cultist, the relics were unnecessary.  Force of habit, I guess.  And that's when I found this.

 

 

With a flourish, Hybrid threw the statue into his "guest's" lap, watched him squirm and writhe against his bonds in a futile attempt to get away from its unclean touch

 

Doesn't feel right, does it?  There's something wrong there.  And yet, something right?  You're beginning to feel stronger, aren't you.

 

It took a few days to work, but once it did, I understood.  Cthulhu waits.  He cannot be defeated.  And after a few days with the statue, you'll see it as well.

 

Cthulhu fthagn.

 

And with that, laughing maniacally, Hybrid left the room.

Questions at Lav. Why not check a role claimant?? Thought it was over when Verb died.

 

Which leads me to mafia- you didn't try to hit the finder??

So it wouldn't have mattered if my plan had worked.  That was always a possibility.  Like I said in game, I felt like gambling.  I'm still kind of annoyed everyone ignored my hints and decided to lynch me though.  DPR and Anox did a really bad job not being scummy but then DPR probably wouldn't have escaped scrutiny no matter what he did.  I was surprised how many people thought Danya was scummy.  I would like to know what the relics did as I only got two (both the Elixer of Tikkoun) and I didn't use either.

I was hoping I could win. I almost knew Danya was scum. I had control of one of her votes, for the rest of the game to. That is where you saw the self vote at.  ;)

I was the healer with the stipulation that I had to invite the person over to my house as I was already dead and had to be in a frozen environment.  Lav was lucky.  I think I only managed to protect her one or two times.

 

One time it was blocked and another time redirected to DPR.  I wondered how she was still alive with no protection so I saved myself one time then decided to go back to her on the night they picked me.

I can't believe I wasn't killed either. I didn't know it was to your place I was being invited nae but i'm glad I accepted. Drinking the elixir made you lose your vote.
