At the risk of looking like I'm defending Pete, I've seen him bring up the 3-6 theory before when he was #6 and innocent, so him bringing it up doesn't look scummy to me.  He could still be scum, but not for that.  :)

 

I'll probably be scarce until Monday since we're about to head out to the other house and paint away our weekend.  I'll log on tonight or Sunday if I can stay awake and my arms aren't numb.

If I get it rite Nae you will change it around. Since you are trying to prove a point, then Jill and Sue are mafia. I would think Sue and Tony were mafia just by placements of votes. Sue comes in and puts together reasoning enough for a vote, and Bill puts Bob at L-1 so someone else can do the dirty work and get the blame.

 

Vote placement has a lot to do with logic that is created in games.

I actually had no set person to be mafia.  I was just trying to figure out your placement and why you think those particular ones would be mafia.  Why Jill?  She started the vote on Bob.  Maybe Bob is mafia and she was the finder?  Tony just came in later.. doesn't mean hes mafia.. just means he thinks Bob is scum and got there later than Jill and Sue.  I'd be more likely to look at Jerry.. (laying low) or Jack and Mary. (staying off the vote for bob because hes a partner or because they know he is innocent and don't want Pete to case them for being number x on a bandwagon)  *shrugs*  It was just hypothetical. :-*

My opinion on the day close before a full lynch vote was reached is that either someone used their role or their relic to end day, not three invisible votes being cast on Al Jenn.  If that is the case, either one player or one mafia team would have known about it.  I think Al Jenn was lynched because he had the most votes when the power was used, not because he had somehow reached a majority vote.

 

This makes a lot of sense to me, and wouldn't surprise me.

 

So, from day one here's who I am watching the closest:

 

mcs, who has yet to post a single post worth reading in this game, and Anox for voting Pandy for being scummy, and then backtracking to say that she only voted him because she had nothing better to do. Lying Liar who Lies anyone? She also then voted for Thorum for seeming suspicious in a blatant attempt to cover up the fact that she was bandwagoning.

Oh sorry about that. I should have understood. I think Sue and Bill are mafia. Sue because she started the bandwagon, she is second so it only takes five to lynch, the third person on that lynch needs to be looked at, because they are pivotal to the outcome. Also Bill put him at l-1 which makes it look like he is setting someone up to do the dirty work, so he can escape blame.

 

I would be pretty certain one of the people not on the lynch would be scum so they can split their votes.

I get the feeling you're just trying to set me up for a lynch when dawn comes. I said the two of you were not conversing , but attacking together. I was not so subtly saying that it appeared you two were working together to attack me. I fail again to see how this post implies stupidity on the part of anyone. Yeah I'm going to have to agree with the *majority* of players here in saying that trying to find Mafia by their placement in a "bandwagon" (which hello, any majority vote is going to be. Otherwise you don't get a lynch!) is complete bollix.

 

How about we look at the *myriad* of posts and vote for someone with some EVIDENCE, shall we?

 

Oh and Aemon, your posts have not done you any credit. They do sound very condescending and just serve to make you look scummy in my eyes. I'm not the only player to feel this way, perhaps you should take a look at how you've been playing the last few posts and figure out why. I mean the ;) emote? Really?

I'm with Nae and the rest on this band-wagon issue. Too many factors there. The Mafia is random, and a band wagon will also be random. Also, I doubt that the mafia is stupid enough to always place themselfs in set places in the voting. When people vote will always involve time zones and game progress, so it will be random. I think its more important to look at who voted for who, who pushed the lynch when, and you know... stuff like that.... like you do when you play a mafia game.. and stuff.

I don't care about the whole feud between Aemon and everyone else, all it is doing is adding posts for us to read with very little actual game value. So, please, shutup and move on. No point in beating the dead horse, lets actually play this game.

That's fine when you have all that to go from, but positions on a bandwagon are a good place to start from when you don't have all of those, like on day one. Or whenever deadlines approach and everyone is in a mad scramble to get a lynch.

You're right, Pookie, it doesn't fly logically.  I was making a hasty post before rushing back to work, and I didn't have time to say it right.  I should have said it as, "There is no real middle, as we have unexplained, invisible votes that can fit into the mix anywhere."

 

That being said, we can't automatically assume that the unaccounted-for votes came from anybody in the bandwagon.  It might be that a relic out there confers the ability to make a separate, invisible vote.  Or maybe it's a roll feature.  I don't remember who said that the relics would be the key to the game, but they were right.

 

And I voted for Thorum on the grounds that he had screwed up my gender.
