You forgot to mention that I was the finder, Pete. I'm just wondering who got recruited what night. I can see either the healer or the bodyguard not protecting the finder, but both of them ignoring my reveal. It made me cry. I was emotionally devestated for days.  :D Just so everyone knows, the night after I revealed, Tigs recruited me and someone NKed me. What a bummer.  ;D

 

Great game, Pete. A lot of confusion with the recruiting. I'd love to play another Doctor themed mafia.

It was a neat themed game.  I have adored Dr Who since the late 80s when I watched with my mom.  At first I didnt really get my role..maybe if it had been a twilight power instead of a night power?

 

Other than that, it was a good game.  Just the right amount of confusion going on.  It was cool, too, switching sides like that.

*curses the Daleks*  I KNEW something was up with Lia... I just didn't act on it til too late.  Great game Pete.  I had an interesting role.. not only did I have the watcher thing but I was on a separate team with Aust, Pookie, and Red and I wasn't supposed to tell them about each other.  Had I KNOWN they couldn't be recruited either I'd have put more trust in them.  I only knew I couldn't be recruited.

 

Pete.. I looked at the picture again and yes it's the second Dr.  I think I like him best though at first I didn't care for him.  Rose is my favorite companion.  Haven't really seen much of Martha or Donna yet though.. Just the one episode with Donna where she was a bridezilla.

 

Lia I think this is the second game where you've had me... watch out girl.. I'ave got my eye on you now.

Ok when did you become non-innocent?  Because Aust viewed you and Adella as both innocent before he died.  Pete?  Was that so many mafia on the vote or so many non-innocents?  I don't have that QT anymore..

My least favorite role is vanilla.. but I also don't care much for Healer.  Unless the finder actually reveals then I usually don't trust anyone and end up saving myself every night.

 

Being mafia is fun.. expecially when you have a really good team.. but I loved my role in this game.. I wish Pete had done a bit more with it though.. after having watched 2 and a half seasons of Dr. Who I see tons of potential for things the dr could do as well as things that could happen in the game.  Dpr's suras games have moral dillemas and such that happen in the game as well as the normal stuff and stuff like that could be done to determine where we go or what monsters we face... Pete.. I might talk to you about some stuff that could potentially be done on Dr. Who 2. ;)

I really liked my role too.  :)  I healed myself the first night to make me a bomb, Nae the second since I didn't know she had a night of immunity yet, and Lavi from then on because when Aemon and Nae both viewed Lavi, Nae told me she saw Lavi protecting.  So I thought Lavi was a second healer, was probably going to heal Aemon, and I covered her back.  I kept my heal on her after that because changing targets would only make it more likely that I'd lose my heal for a vig kill. 

 

It was hillarious, but the night I died I actually posted on our QT to Nae that I was trying to decide how I could go about antagonizing the NK people without getting myself lynched so I could go all bombity on them.  Then Lavi made me go boom.  :)  And yes, I healed her that night.  Paradox much?  :D

That reminds me of when I was new and innocent seeming. The first time I was mafia, apparently the healer healed me the first few nights. I didn't find out until I was talking to the mod much later.

I would like to say that I'm super excited that I got added to the winning team the night before we won! LOL! WOOOO for my first game I lived through and got to be on the winning side! LOL!

 

And Eddie, you know I feel terrible for accidentally starting a bandwagon on you! If it helps, I had the chance to stop a lynch on someone, and I tried to stop it on you, it's just that you made the mod-goddess mad who was writing your death scene already, so I was too slow.. SORRY! :'(

Since Wes was Cult that makes the mafia team only 3 players out of 20?  And I could have switched teams while Anox (at least) was still alive.  Unless there is something I don't know (as usual  ;)) it seems like the mafia team may have had a hard time winning.

 

Pete, In my original role PM it said I might have the chance the become a solo winner, yet when the PM came it said I could be a vanilla townie.  I think I read the Dr Yana went crazy in the story; was it a two stage process to become a solo winner?  Or did I just mis-understand the PM asking me to switch teams?

Good game, but I would have enjoyed it more if I wasn't so confused.

 

I was the bodyguard, so I could protect someone, and any night action turned back against that person. After some initial confusion, it was sorted. I was the special poster who was scratched, however Pete for your info/feedback, you never told me I had become a serial killer. OR that I had become not innocent. I didn't even know I could kill until you sent me a PM the night I killed pookie. Until then, I was a happy little townie doing the townie thing. So next time, please give all the info! If you like I can go find the PM and quote it for you. You actually told me it doesn't mean anything except that I can have a solo win if my team wins. So, I took it to assume if the town won, I did anyway.

 

Other than that, I liked the theme! Great ideas there, I haven't played much with twisted/inventive roles, so it's interesting uncovering them, though hella confusing ;D
