Torchwood is a spin off of Dr Who.  I looked at the episode list, and Gwen was on one of the series finales with Jack Harkness, I think series 5.

 

Torchwood is based in Cardiff, and they deal with all the bits that float through the time/space rift.

Torchwood was started because of Doctor Who. Queen Vic wanted to protect her people against alien life forms (such as the warewolf and himself) and thus founded Torchwood (which was the name of the manor where the whole werewolf thing happened). In future episodes it's turned into a top notch investigative/protective force, relating to all things not of earth. It then became it's own spin off series. Gwen was one of the agents of torchwood.

Not out yourselves.  All you have to do is say yes.. I was blocked on x night.  Or no I was not.  It's my understanding that everyone has some sort of role or something.. even if it's just "cult".  If you don't have an active role that could be blocked or whatever then just say so.
