Yours were clever I thought Nae! And yes - Red - that was very well written!

As for pandy I suppose we should have suspected he was going solo when he didn't come back to answer our questions - he set himself up to look suspicious and then vanished when people started looking at him. I think he was solo winner in Nae's movie mafia too  :P

You're right Nae, it does kill both my theories on Pandy's lynch.

But, we are sorta back at square one, minus the SK (which is good).

Both the town AND mafia would want the SK dead, so we can only look so far at the voting patterns, as I don't believe anybody else was in real danger of being lynched (prime time for identifying teams).

Either way, this game is plenty active enough to enable us to hit the ground running tomorrow morning.

Alright, I was going to case Torrie a little bit for bringing up the whole idea of confusion and pointing out that she has used it as a tactic before - you appear to have created a Basic Instinct style cover job - but I'll let it go with just a mention. No problem.

I think I'm cool with waiting to see what the morning brings. Not how I normally play, but there's nothing in the codes against it and everybody seems to be playing a pretty tight game.

In some games, the thread is locked during the night, but I prefer when its open - it's a great time to weigh options based on what happens during the night. Especially later in the game.

Mod Speak:  I'm indifferent with talking at night.  i perfer not to lock the thread incase people want to discuss the days events and list theories, or if there is an on going arguement; especailly since new info is gained by the lynch post.  thats just imo though and has no bearign on this game ;)  to each their own  ;D

The feelings of elation and joy mixed with dread and foreboding as the DVD came to an end and the clock resumed on the TV, counting away another hour.  You looked back at Jigsaw’s body and marveled at how indiscriminate his features were; when you had read all those articles a year back about the Jigsaw murders you had pictured in your mind that only a monster could be behind such a cruel and inhumane game.

A dull sensation of numbness began to creep in as you realized it wasn’t over yet, that in order for you to escape alive more people would have to die.  You torn your gaze from Jigsaw’s lifeless corpse and surveyed the remaining people, wondering how many more people would have to die before this terrible night was over.  Your attention is pulled to the Cop, who was pushing the ejection button on the DVD and removing the disc to place it in safe place.

As he did, the lights began to flicker, a few screams emitted from the crowd of hostages; your own yell of being caught off guard among them as the lights flickered for a last time and went out.  Only the glow from the clock on the TV screen illuminated the room; making the already uncomfortable room that much more unnerving; the clock was already past it’s halfway mark.

“Quiet down, all of you.  Everyone now, gather into the light and stay close.”

The gruff voice of the Cop was an unexpected comfort in the darkness of the room and you obeyed rather quickly; common sense as well as your own instincts told you light brought safety.  The only noise to break the silence was the thudding of your heart in your ears and the panicked breathing of the small gathering around you; ironically it seemed to your heart was keeping time with the count down on the screen, as if it somehow knew it’s beats were dependent on those precious few hours.

Though you couldn’t see much beyond the dull glow of the TV, you somehow knew everyone was watching the clock, an air of expectation hung in the air like a thick fog.  As the clock ticked away its final seconds, the lights suddenly came back on.  The unexpected bright light blinded you for a minute; but the sensation was a welcomed one and slowly your eyes began to adjust.

Hope and relief overwhelmed you, you had lasted another hour and it seemed that everyone else had as well.  You heard the thuggish guy exclaim a curse from near the back of the room and curiosity drew your eyes.  There sitting against the wall, as if peacefully asleep, was Nae; the thug leaned down to shake her awake and she fell over with a loud thump on the floor, her neck broken and laying at an odd angle

Nae, Jade Cline the Bank Robber and an Innocent Townie has been nk’d.

So, it's not a huge surprise that Pandy was the SK - sometimes he tells like that if he's got a power role.

It's a little bit more of a surprise that Nae was killed, but it does definitely add to the big game hunting theory.

It's bugging me that I mention Torrie using her discussion of a tactic as a cover - If she talks about using "confusing" tactics, then she couldn't be the one trying to confuse, right? Even though she went after me with no reason, and then stayed on my case during the night.

Now we have another case of the same thing: Verbal mentions big game hunting while I am being voted against, and then Nae dies. Is this another cover?

I find it extremely suspicious that two players are seemingly using the same technique - it makes it look like they are communicating.

All we need now is a fake reveal. meh

You guys are awfully quiet. What do you see?

Then we have this...

I'm reading along with the storyline, and it occurs to me that there may be more going on that we are noticing.

Mod? May I ask if there is paerhaps a message that we are supposed to be getting?

Well Red, if what you currently do isn't working out for you, you have a future writing psychological thriller movies/books. I'm thoroughly impressed.

Aww Naeann :(  To answer your question Tigraine, I don't recall her having any particular suspicions - she may have just been the victim of big-game hunting by the scum, as DPR pointed out. She was an interesting choice as an NK though.

that's "big game hunting" - you take out the players most likely to be a problem for you...

It is kind of lame that we lost nae. She is a good player, but at least se was vanilla. We pretty much expected an to be an innocent down, but this kill reveals more than that. Nae is an experienced player with a reputation, she wasn't to vocal. It seems to me that her reputation was the main reason for her death but thinking that I am inclined to believe that we are dealing with a pretty nobish scum team with about a midways experienced player.

Hey Wes, care to explain what you're doing with the numbers embedded in your post there?  I added the space within the bracket to show it, but anybody can check the post and see it.
