You stand in confusion, watching the clock count down the minutes, the words from the doll resonate in your mind ‘… to survive this redemption you must work as a team.  Come clean with your crimes, learn your lesson well and you will be sure to succeed; but fail to do so and you will pay the ultimate price.’  Something about this situation tickles the back of your mind, yet you can’t put your finger on it.  A thuggish looking man steps up and tries to take charge of the situation.

“I’ll be damned if I’m going to sit here and take orders from a psycho doll; I aint gonna play no perves game, so whose gonna help me get out of here?” A few people nod their heads in agreement and step forward, a dull murmur of agreement coming.  A frightened voice spoke up, though it was more of a frightened whisper. “It said that if we try to escape, we’ll die.  Psycho doll or not, I’d rather play by the rules and live.  Whoever has the key codes, just turn them over and we can get out of here.”

Apprehension crossed the faces of those who stepped forward; the thuggish man scowled at the woman and ground his knuckles, looking as if he’d like to hit something.  Understanding dawned to you and as a gasp issued from your lips everyone turned to look at you.

“She’s right, we have to follow the rules; I was trying to remember where I had heard of this before.”  You gestured to the room and the TV.  “It wasn’t that I had heard about it, but more of read about it.  The doll, the talk of redemption and crimes; it’s happened before a few years back, the police said they caught him but…”

“Jigsaw.  You’re telling me were in part of Jigsaws game.”  A stern looking man cut you off, a grim expression on his face; relieved that someone else understood the situation you nodded your head.   He shook his head. “Listen, the shoe fits but I doubt this is Jigsaw.  He’s dead, I saw it with my own eyes; I was one of the first responders to the last Jigsaw crime scene, which means this is more to be a copy cat.”

The thuggish looking guy took an involuntary step back.  “You mean you’re a cop?”  The Cop grimaced as he corrected the thug, “Was a cop, but that’s not the point.  What we need to do is get out of here, and to do that we have to play by the rules.”

As the group entered a discussion about how to escape you started to scan the room; there are camera’s in each corner along with speakers, and a steal double door with a key code access panel.  Finding nothing of interest, you notice that there is a DVD player under the VHS with a tiny note sticking out.  You walk over to the DVD player and remove the note, in scratchy hand writing it reads

“Only in death will the truth be revealed. 1 person per hour is the equation for survival, refusal to do so will result in immediate termination.”

You stare at the short note and re-read it multiple times, until unexpectedly someone takes the note from you.  The Cop reads it out loud and looks at you suspiciously.

“Where’d you find this?”  Still speechless from finding the note and what it implies, you point to the DVD player.  The cop then searches the DVD and VHS player, both are empty.  You notice you have only ½ an hour to go before the first hour is out.  There is a heavy tone to the Cops voice.

“It seems that we have to kill someone each hour to survive, unless we can get the access code; we have a ½ an hour to decide, and I for one I’m not ready to die.”

Everyone voices their opinions, and a mass pointing of fingers proceeds this statement; as the hour winds down to its final minutes a piercing bell comes across the speakers as a warning that time is almost up.  This creates a panic among the group, and hurriedly majority of the group comes to an agreement on Pandy.

The Cop steps up to Pandy, who is backing up trying to talk his way out of this fate; but his please and bargaining falls on deaf ears.  The thug and another muscular man flank the Cop and try to take hold of Pandy’s arms, as they do a feral snarl comes from Pandy as he pulls out a knife and slices at them.  Acting on pure instinct, you dive forward and taking Pandy by surprise, you’re able to tackle him to the ground.  The knife skids across the floor, Pandy claws at you to get to it but you hold on tight.

The Cop grabs the knife, runs to where you and Pandy are wrestling; you see the Cop and immediately begin to back off, as you do Pandy spins to run away and is impaled by his own knife.  He looks down at the knife in surprise, and stumbles backward; he’s dead before his body hits the ground.

The Cop steps over to his body and checks for a pulse before yanking out the knife and cleaning the blade on Pandy’s own shirt; he then searches the body and finds a small silver DVD.  Walking over to the DVD player, he slides the DVD into it and the screen flashes once again to the doll.

“This death is bittersweet, for you and for me; rejoice for you have killed Jigsaw, my crime was not being able to teach you to survive without the shedding of blood.  I hold no keys to freedom on me, so while you have killed your captor you will still die from the poisonous gas if you don’t obtain freedom in time.”

Pandy, Jigsaw the Serial Killer and Solo Winner has been lynched.

Night will last until Wed Feb 24, 2010 @ 8pm CST or when all night actions are recieved

I think it's worth noting that the handful of folks that switched their vote (or voted in the first place) to Pandy after it was pretty clear he was the lynch for today bear serious scrutiny, regardless of Pandy's pending alignment reveal.

However, if he's mafia, then I'm pretty certain (more so than if he's innocent) that one of those are a teammate creating some distance with a sac vote.

Everytime I have played with Pandy he got voted off the first day. I'm starting to feel bad for him even if he was Mafia.

So now what?

The whole discussion with Tigs and DPR about drunk posting really sounded like an effort to confuse everyone. Switching names and the such.

:o

Nice!

P.S. Red, nice death scene, and if I end up not being able to play, I will tell you.

Torrie....I don't think so. It seemed like he just confused you and Tigs.

Trying to throw some suspicious off of you?

Yes, very nice, Red.

No. In the last game I played, I did the exact same thing and blamed it on meds from having a tooth pulled. I did it to confuse the Townies. Now DPR is blaming it on being drunk.

i have some interesting thoughts on some of the remarks made, but I do want confirm Pandy's alignment: was that an innocent SK or a non-alignment SK?

Posted

Mod Speak:  he was a solo winner, a stnd version of the SK.  so i'm guessing that's no-alignment or an alignment to himself

I have had slightly different experiences with drunk men  ;)

But I think it's a good idea for everybody to explain their votes but what do I know? :-\

You've been doing very good lately.  You are stepping out more and not being so timid in your posts.  I'm proud of you. ;)

Everybody leave me alone for a few minutes and allow me to soak in the praise of Nae  ;D  Thanks Nae!
