Rules

•Rules are subject to change as needed.  I'm the Mod... I reserve that right.

•Do not quote PM’s from the Mod.

•Days will last 3 days (72hrs) IRL; nights will last 2 days (48hrs) IRL.  Weekends will count as ½ days.

•Lynch will be by majority, if a majority is not reached by the deadline a random player will be killed from those who haven’t voted.

•No editing posts; no if’s, and’s or butt’s

•Mafia can talk off thread.

•You get one Blah post after death, but that’s it.  Failure to observe this rule will result in mod kill of a teammate.

•If players complain about spamming too much, the spammer will be warned 1 time.  if the spammer continues to spam, the spammer will be Mod Killed!

•Votes and Un-votes must to be glowed. Votes must also be un-voted before you can vote again.

•All questions need to be PM’d to me, I will answer them in thread if I see them, but there is no guarantee of this.

•Role, name & crime will be revealed in death scene.

Exhausted from a long day at work, you can’t help but feel an immediate sense of relief as you place your key in the door ‘Finally I’m home & the day is done’ are your thoughts as you enter your dark and lonely house, turning on a light.  You find it odd that your cat, Darcy, hasn’t come to greet you as usual; but tiered as you are, you shrug off the oddity and continue onto the kitchen to grab a glass of wine.  

 

As you open the fridge door, you feel an ominous presence behind you; but before you can react, a strong arm snakes itself around your neck and the smell of chloroform is all you breathe before blackness overcomes you.

 

Many hours later you wake up, shaking your head groggily in attempts shake off the effects of the drug; sitting up slowly, your vision becoming clear, you find that you are in a medium sized room with 11 other people.  In the center is a TV on a stand with a VCR attached to it.

 

You approach the TV as others start to rise and the TV flicks on playing the pre-recorded tape.  On the screen you see a puppet talking in a distorted male voice

 

“You have been brought here because each of you has a secret, and have escaped justice for a crime you have committed; some among you hold even more deadly secrets than you could imagine.  I hope that you will learn the error of your ways before its too late, but in order for you to survive this redemption you must work as a team.  Come clean with your crimes, learn your lesson well and you will be sure to succeed; but fail to do so and you will pay the ultimate price.

 

Among you are 3 individuals who have committed crimes so heinous that their only redemption lies in death: these individuals carry on them, part of a key code you need to obtain freedom.  You have 12 hours to find freedom; if by the end of this time you are unsuccessful, the door will lock forever and a deadly gas will enter the room causing immediate death.  Be warned, entering the wrong code will also trigger this gas, as will any escape attempts.  Good Luck.”

 

The tape ends and a giant clock appears on the screen counting down the hours, you look at the other 11 people with suspicion and wariness.

Mod Speak: don't worry, you don't need to have seen the movies to be able to play the game.  ;)  if you watch the movies though Saw 1 & 2 are great, but the rest are really lacking (though i haven't seen Saw 5).  their very gore filled as well.

I´ve only seen the first one. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it. I usually don´t like horror movies because they don´t scare me at all. Usually I just get a chuckle out of them.

Mod Speak:  i have updated the rules about lynching.  i am trying the hammer style, so you will need a majority inorder to have a successful lynch by the deadline :)   if the required number of votes is not reached by the deadline i will randomly kill someone (people from the non-voters will have first prioretys in those randomly killed that day)
