I didn't have cable as a kid, but those rare occasions where I got access to it Nickelodeon could never hold my attention for more than 30 seconds.  I don't think I've put it on once for my kids, either.

 

Cartoon Network was always a treat, though I was a bit old for Dexter's Lab and Cow & Chicken.

Fox Kids was more than sufficient for my entertainment needs anyway.
