Kiv is a LLL, he may have started out as the firefighter, and then been recruited to the cult, and became vanilla, or he may have been recruited to the mafia. Either way he is a LLL and LLL are usually scum.

Kivam has been caught in a lie, obviously. Why? I don't know, and I'm somewhat tempted to lynch him right now, regardless.

 

DS - There is no cult, stop suggesting one. Alys stated as much and we know she was innocent. Therefore it is reasonable to conclude that she was not lying.

 

As for Pale, I think he was being honest. FDM wasn't supposed to die until tomorrow night, I'm the one who is supposed to die tonight.

It looks to me like the poisoner. And yes, Alys sounded pretty certain about it. No masons, no cult, and the mafia don't have a traditional team either... though we don't know how they are laid out. Alys said the opposite of a Mason team, which leads me to think either a) They aren't in communication with each other, and the kill gets passed around each night (most likely) or b) A mafia team without a kill (and some other ability to supplement it, but this option I think is less likely)

I see it as a security measure.  Providing Kivam was telling the truth about his role... not telling us he found the Arsonist leaves the mafia guessing and more likely to keep him alive to avoid risking the arsonist killing off a ton of people?  He mentioned that more than once.. that as long as he was alive the arsonist wouldn't be able to set off their bomb.  He did find her.. but kept it hidden saying he still needed to find them to prevent mafia from offing him.  That's all providing he was being truthful about his role.. as I said.

 

I wondered something with that with his certainty that Lily and FDM are/were innocent.  He did mention way back who it was he checked already.  Maybe he got more than "they are not the arsonist"? (or in FDM's case.. that she was)

Actually, Nae's suggestion makes sense. Kivam was unlynchable as long as he couldn't find the arsonist, so it made total sense for him to lie. Alys also put a lot of faith in him, so perhaps you should think this through a bit.

Alys also thought that Pale was the double voter.  I think Kivam is innocent though.  I can see why he would lie in this case.

Alys also said that she wasn't completely sure that Kivam was innocent. She put faith in him but she wasn't certain. We have 2 Liars and we're thinking about letting them live? Pale has lied multiple times and Kivam was just caught in a big lie as well (albeit with a *plausible* theory, which is convenient).

Okay, when Kivam gets back from Sabbath (I'm guessing this is where he's gone) I would like him to clarify his role again for us, since I can't be bothered digging it up in the thread. Specifically, if he views the arsonist, do they become 'neutralised'? Was Far 'neutralised', and if so, why was she still called arsonist when she was killed? Finally, if the arsonist is a town player, why would he claim a role that seeks to cancel out the town player's actions?

 

Anyway, Far was innocent and I was wrong about her. I'm still suspicious of Lily and Hybrid for their interactions with Rey.
