OK, I haven’t read whatever happened last night. Here’s the thing. I can’t say what I want to say because it’s privaledged info. What I can do is beat around the bush as much as possible then agree when one of you guys says the right thing. So I plotted and the easiest way I see to do this is to just list the names that I have. You guys MUST figure out the reason because that’s what I can’t share.

No, sadly I chose the lesser of 3 evils in picking his name. The one most likely to be able to hide a mafia.

The only thing I have to add to the barrage of posts that have preceded mine is that all of a sudden Alys and Kivam seem to be agreeing with each other more. Barm has made an admirably succint summary on the game so far. FDM is looking pretty innocent IMO.

Look, one of these three is the one my comments were directed toward.

 

Kivy- I admit, I am loathe to lose him. He has the most detailed description. He's the best player. It would SUCK to lose his role. But he's good at playing people. I want to wait for him.

 

Pandy- Role name, no way to prove any details. He could just out and say, "damn that didn't work," tomorrow. But I don't know what his role does, and that bothers me. It's totally new. Easy to hide here. Gave the role with little pushing. Again, bothers me. Got hostile that we'd ask why. Even more bothersome to me. I really, really want my vote here, but I am wondering if it would have a negative impact on Wombat due to day one agreement.

 

Rey- His role is... potentially of a small value. There's another cop role around. I KNOW which role is the one not being used. Can't say that though, you'll catch on later. It's easy for the mafia to hide behind it. Too easy. And it's an expendable role. He gave it out with NO reason at all. VERY bothersome.

The ONLY thing I know that I can say is that one of these three is mafia. The end. We just have to be clever enough to pick the right one of the bunch.

Whilst your hinting on roles is intriguing, can i just say i agree with the rest of this?

Have actually had (sober) time on my hands and read through the last 20 odd pages and so much of Reyoru's actions just seem illogical, out of the blue and utterly unhelpful.

 

Remember the odd accusation against Barm/Nae? Admittedly Nae's defensive reaction is very very scummish, but the accusation was a little out of the blue, and hardly backed up.

 

Similarly the role... too easy in many ways to hide behind, and whilst slightly numerically useful...

 

TL;DR Reread and now even more convinced that Reyoru is not innocent.

I just don't know. It is all really hairy to me. I feel like I'm looking at an Ouija Board. Kivam's certainly put himself in a position that if we lynch him we're screwed if he's telling the truth.

A question for you Alys. Are you saying that ONLY 1 of them can be Mafia, or at least one of them is mafia.

 

That would make a difference if Rey was Mafia.

 

If it is just one, then i have to agree with the logic that Rey is more dispensible than Livam, if Kivam has that role. I didn't like the way he revealed.

 

One thing that did strike me, was that Kivam's reveal was a little too detailed. It got the discussions going and made it into everyones mind. I know that doesn't make too much sense, but I felt like we were bombarded with a lot of info on it.

 

There also seems to be a few Blackmail threats from a few, saying the town would regret them going (or words to that effect). Can't say that I like that too much. I think it was Nae and Lav who said it!

 

I can't see anything else to do at the moment. We have been given some information, unsure of the source. But we are going to have to do something so I will go back to my original vote [glow=red,2,300]Rey[/glow]

And I'm surprised that everyone is simply eating up whatever Alys comes out with. She claims to have a role, and can supposedly see who's lying and who isn't because she has "special abilities"? Anybody else have any magical abilities from the mod?  ::)

 

I picked up on this before as well. Alys seems very helpful, analysing all the points and posting info, and because of that when she "reveals" everyone takes it hook, line and sinker. When I revealed I got a lot of suspicion, but when Alys did, not one person has doubted her.

I don't trust her totally, but she has at least come up with something and not just reveal for the sake of it. She will be watched, you have no need to worry about that.

I mean in most games, you just wouldn't lynch a player who has revealed, and on whom there has been no counterclaim. Sure, watch them, and the moment you have proof nail them, but in most games you wouldn't kill them right off the bat.

Ok, I'm gonna say this now, because I might not have a chance to say it later (I've got swimming training for 2 hours now).

 

I lied about my role - I am the Fortune Teller, but my role does something different from what I put out. I receive the name of a person that is marked to die on the following night. Hence the Fortune Teller, predicts the future etc.

 

The reason I revealed and then lied was because I was getting a bit edgy about the Pandy/Kivam situation and was seeing how people would react and if someone would come out and try a counter-claim. As Lily has mentioned, I've faked the day finder role recently and pulled the wool over people's eyes and ended up winning that game. I'm not dumb enough to play the same trick twice, especially because there are at least 3 people in this game who were in on the plot in that game.

 

The bottom line is, I came out and nobody counter-claimed. That in itself should be enough for people for now. Watch me, probe my answers, do whatever you want, but if you kill me now, you'll lose an asset.
