So now even Pete wants to go for Ty?

Why don't you just change your vote then?

Agh!

I don't know what to do right now.

*thinks back to Wombats crazy post of what-could-be-what possibilities*

He said if Talmanes is innocent we should go for Tynaal.  I took that as meaning if Talmanes flips innocent, but I guess it could mean what you said too.

As I have said before Elli a role reveal would render my role useless. It realy would. If I have like 5 votes on me or something I'll reveal.

Oh, Tynaal, you have just backed yourself into a corner with this semi-reveal. A role reveal that would render your role useless would be if you were the cult leader, because then everyone would know who you are. If you died, no more recruiting for the cult and the 2 people you recruited on nights 1 & 2 could still win with their original teams. A cult lynch is just as good as a mafia lynch in my book - both are good for town.

Tynaal[/glow]

Tynaal has been threatening to reveal for a long time. This is like "go ahead, I dare you to lynch me. I could be someone important". I don't like these types of players.

Hmm. I'm kind of tempted to go after Tynaal at this point. I also don't like half-reveals.

As for Talmanes...I'm tending to think that he's lying, but I don't think it would be so crazy for there to be more than one finder in this game, considering we have weird finding abilities that aren't totally accurate. Also, if you look at Talames' 'ability,' it's strangely similar to mine. So either he's lying (having made up his lie based on my ability), or there really are two finders. Because how could I have made up something so weird (the odd/even) thing, and then it actually turn out to be similar to the 'real' finder?

As for multiple finders (sorry, just thought of this), it is possible to have more than one finder in a game, especially if neither of them had a 100% reading. It makes them work together to find out who the mafia members are.  If they overlap their night actions by just 1 query, they can figure out who the mafia members are. Also, it makes it harder on the mafia if there are more than 1 finder, because they don't know who the healer is protecting.

Alanna: LOL and you stole my thunder. No fair.

LOL sorry, it took me a while to make that post :D

Well, for now I am going to [glow=red,2,300]unvote[/glow]. Just because I want to hear what others have to think now. If nothing really changes, I will likely vote Talmanes again.

[glow=red,2,300]unvote[/glow] something about that doesn't sit well with me, but I am going to change to [glow=red,2,300]tynaal[/glow] she hasn't revealed yet and it is better to err in caution

Now that is interesting. I am a sul'dam doubler, and my damane is not active.

[glow=red,2,300]unvote[/glow]

and vote [glow=red,2,300]talmanes[/glow] we have two claimed finders, and only one claim on healer, I think this is the safer gamble.

Well the only way that could be true (Tynaal's claim) is if Pete was mafia, and as experienced as he is I can't see him lying about doubling roles, it just seems pointless. Plus Alanna confirmed he did double her, so unless they are both mafia, which I find unlikely he is innocent. So my vote stands. And also Wombat given the Seanchan theme, having a Seeker, Listener, and Deathwatch Guard all be finders is reasonable. Since there are (were) three of us, that is probably why none of us get completely accurate results, (unless our Listener did) it just seems pretty reasonable, and an interesting twist by Jeran.

Only thing though, the seekers could question anyone, no one was safe. Possible cult maybe?

Posted

The seekers were the ones with the raven right? That can even arrest the high blood?

If thats so then i think pete's theory on them being cult is plausible... It would fit with their characters totally

Also claiming healer seems the most obvious role to claim if you are trying to survive, and if she really was a healer, couldn't she just heal herself anyway so she can't die from a mafia kill? If so she shouldn't of been so hesitant, seems more to me like she needed time to think. I can't protect myself, so I had to wait till the last second.

I have theories but I will not post them until after Tynaal

Posted

I knew Tynaal was hinting at healer immediately when she said if she revealed her power would be useless unless doubled.  I had actually suspected Tynaal might be the healer ever since she said that thing about apologizing to the healer for all the reveals.  I had hoped Tynaal wouldn't have to reveal and that other townies had seen what I had seen while the mafia remained ignorant.  Now it's out in the open and the situation is more complicated.  I'm inclined to believe Tynaal as I can see why as a healer she would only want to hint instead of reveal.  I don't see how Tynaal's claim contradicts Pete's as Pete never claimed to know anything about damane.  Pete could just be one of the many "incomplete" sul'dam.  I think someone is scum among Alanna, Talmanes, and Tynaal and right now my money is on Talmanes, but I'm not as sure as I was before.

Edit for new:  I don't think there is a cult but I could always be wrong as the Seekers did have a complicated relationship with the Blood.  Then again, ShadowKiller was described as a "Town Listener."  Talmanes, of course you would be going after Tynaal right now as she is the other candidate.  I can see exactly why a healer would be hesitant to reveal.  If Tynaal really is a healer, now she has to decide between healing herself and healing someone else.  It's a big headache.  Pete, I can't wait for your theories.

Theory alert

1. Jeran put different sul'dam in the game with different roles just to confuse us and he could get a laugh.

2. Tynaal is telling the truth and validates my first theory.

3. Tynaal is lying and the sul'dam are all power doublers

4. Staying true to the book I am more inclined to believe number one, because the sul'dam teach their damane randland healing etc.

I can predict the mafia actions tonight to. It kind of sucks but unless we get the roleblocker today then we are between a rock and a hard place.

Posted

Just finished skimming.  The people that look most scummy to me are Talmanes and Rose.  My gut says Tynaal is telling the truth.  Therefore my vote stays on Talmanes.

Posted

God, I find that I do not believe any of the Roleclaims. I know that is impossible but I just do not trust any of those who have role claimed (maybe you all are a combination of Mafia, Cult and Symp  :-[ :-\). But I guess I have to vote for someone so I think I will vote for [glow=red,2,300]Tynaal[/glow] as her reveal was last moment and frankly a healer revealing is not as bad as a Finder revealing. Figuring that the none of the Finders who have revealed are 100% accurate, so maybe Jeran did make more then one player a Finder in which case both Alanna and Talmanes could be telling the truth.

But again if there is any healers they would have revealed by now so we could catch Tynaal in a lie
