While I read the Battle of Dumai Wells, my xbox played Ride the Lightining by Metallica, it was a perfect fit. Any music you think fits with certain parts of the books?

You have no soul if the music at the beginning of The Fellowship of the Ring doesn't put a smile on your face. One of the most tranquil, relaxing scenes I've ever seen in an movie. And I don't see how you couldn't get chills hearing "Into the West" at the end of Return of the King......*shrugs*

 

Anyway, funny that this topic should be brought up. Since I was reading TGH and Velcro Fly came on my playlist(anyone who has read The Dark Tower knows why that's funny) and then after that I was reading the part about them traveling by stone with the alternate realities and "Time after Time" popped up on my playlist by chance. I found it kind of funny :D

Perhaps something like this

  ;). That is quite a high-tempo performance, in parts, and listening I can imagine the movie at high tempo. Actually, I have been reminded of it because of the polyphony, as in Rand's dream early on when he's at Tar Valon, with all the songs in the world merging as one anthem as he describes.

The original Conan the Barbarian has one of the greatest soundtracks of all time!  >:(
