Poetry Contest for our brilliant Kathana

The champion will be chosen and will hopefully win a cool signature or avatar (if I have time to make one) and of course the awesome knowledge that they finished first in the Poetry Contest for Kathana!

You had to watch over everyone in this tower

and keep an eye on sam to make sure he wouldn't walk in the ladies showers

I'm actually not judging this one. But if I was, you'd certainly have my vote. Especially since while I was reading it, i was thinking "Who the hell is he talking about? This sounds nothing like me...Oh."

When I met Kathana this year

I couldn't tell if she could hear

The words I was saying,

In bed she was laying

With blankets that covered her ears.

 

Then with a loud voice she exclaimed

That Nyn with her bosomy fame

Was not HALF a slut,

With her tops so low-cut

But a WHOLE one, and all live men's bane.

 

After that moment I knew

That she is much cooler than you

And me for that matter,

She's mad as a hatter,

But great fun to be with, it's true.

Alright, so Narina told me I could pick the winners, but then I fell asleep. (Sort of literally, when I get tired enough, I kinda zombie out until I realize I'm tired and should sleep. It's weird, I know.)

 

Anyways, before I announce the winner, I want to point out a few favorites. Meesh's made me giggle. Dragonsworn's was sweet and clever. Nyn's was...well everything you'd expect from her. Blatant references to her knockers and pitiful cries for attention. Liitha and Cairos...I'm sorry, but I have no idea what you said. Is it a code? A foreign language? Some kind of spambot?

 

You can probably guess that I enjoyed all of them quite a bit. But my favorite is still Boopsy's. I laughed so hard I thought I died.

Congrats Boopsy, you teacher's pet you :P (though I have to say, yours I didn't understand at all... which makes sense, ironically, given as it is her favorite ROFL). But then, I don't get Haiku's either, so yeah.
