BTW, it's clear that we have two mafia teams out there.  One would be JVoR's team, one would be Dae's team, and DSage would be on one or the other.  That's the only explanation I have for JVoR killing Dae.

I believe I've caught another mafioso, btw.  Check this out:

From everything I've read, and I'll admit I've been half out-of-it today because I was reading from my phone and also babysitting at the same time, it seems like JVOR hasn't been behaving normally.

This seems like a widely agreed-upon statement, no?

He's been lurking here, while posting in other places, proving that his inactivity here is from choice rather than circumstance.  And from what people have said, and from my observations of the beginning of the game, he is not one to lurk and avoid posting like this.  He seemed pretty active in the beginning, and now he's gone.  He came back to make a claim about a role, and then disappeared again.

If I remember everything (I don't have the time to go back and search the thread), there seems to be some doubt as to whether he's being truthful about his supposed Lie-detector role.  Because Kivam got the Neighbor role (right?), and Pallet claims no role (which could obviously be a lie, of course), but SOMEONE got a killing role.  If Pallet is telling the truth, then the only person who could've picked up the killing role is JVOR, right?

Now, Pallet could be lying, of course; getting a killing role is no reason to start lurking and avoiding the thread, so that alone isn't a good case against JVOR.  However, if JVOR is lying, that right there is enough to create much suspicion.

As far as the Cult goes, JVOR could very well have been zombified and given a PR, which would contribute significantly to his desire to avoid posting here.

I believe the last argument against JVOR is that even if he is telling the truth about his lie detector role, he has been lurking and not posting, even after he apologized for missing the deadline the first time.  So what good does he do us anyway, if he's not going to be here to use his supposed role?

I understand that these aren't ORIGINAL arguments; but this is what has been brought up, and I agree with pretty much all of it.  I agree that he's not behaving normally, and that is very suspicious, however innocent the reality may be.

He's also our best lead, for now, and we can get information from his death, whether he's a zombie or not.

So, having said all that, I [glow=blue,2,300]vote JVOR[/glow]

Also, as for the medical kit thing...

I really think that we should be sure it's not a one-shot thing before we just start throwing it around.  And from what it sounds like, I believe it IS a one-shot use, so I agree with whoever said that we should wait to use it when Zombie recruitment is more likely to have happened, and we're likely to actually catch someone.

ACK! Okay, you guys posted while I was typing... *scans new posts*

To the Arsis comment... are you sure?  About the smiley thing, I mean.

But anyway, I read what you posted, Smash, just so you know. :)

I just don't want to type a reply up and continue to delay my posting.

And:

While I don't suscribe to any particular theory at the time, I agree with Kivam about the effect on the game. It would really screw things up for us not to know if we're done with the Cult or not.   On the other hand, I believe it's fully possible that DPR would withhold that info, maybe because his hands are tied or maybe for kicks.

And:

Dammit, this is why I don't post in mafia games from my phone. >:(  Nae and Kivam have a convincing argument. Just thought I'd say that.

and:

Blue glow, right? [glow=blue,2,300]DSage[/glow] I already said I think Kivam made a good case, as did Nae, and everyone who did also.

Basically, Mmeesh has been skating through the game agreeing with other people's opinions without posting one of her own - especially when it comes to justifying votes.  That's a pretty typical scumtell in my experience - trying to distance yourself from a vote on a probable innocent.

I'm fairly confident in this one (and expect to have some defenders of the Mmeesh popping out of the woodwork.

[glow=red,2,300]Mmeesh[/glow]

Also, on reread, I noticed this:

Why have people abandoned the idea of vetting suspected cult members via the post restriction test?

I think Dsage should post all the things people had mentioned earlier.  If he's lynched and is indeed cult, we'll know it doesn't work.

If he refuses to do it for whatever reason than I'll happily put my vote there now.

Pac seemed oddly reluctant to vote DSage through the whole DSage lynch.  I'm thinking Pac may be on DSage's mafia team - what do you all think?  I'm not as confident on Pac as I am on Mmeesh, but he's definitely the other guy I'd be looking at right now.

Wow, a lot happened while I was sleeping.  I was sitting there thinking that Kivam was innocent and accusing me of being scum, and I was typing up a response in one tab while finishing my catch-up reading, and then I see that Kiv and Nae died.  I was so sure of Kiv's innocence that I actually skipped over his alignment until someone mentioned that he was scum.  I did a double-take and went back and checked, and sure enough, he was scum turned zombie.  Lord, he's a damn good player.

It also irritated the heck out of me that they died.  I picked up the Neighbor role while I was on the Mission, and I asked for Kiv and Nae as my neighbors.  Only, they died before we ever got in touch with each other.  What a waste of a role.

Anyway, seriously, I hate posting from my crappy cell phone.  I'm on a computer now, but I've been on my phone more often in the last week than I have my computer.  I have a 512-character limit on each post, and it takes forever to text out the post, so I usually don't say much because by the time I'm ready to post, there are at least 5 new ones to read through.  It's irritating.

As for Kiv's arguments concerning my "go along with other people's vote ideas" thing, I really don't have much to say when every angle's been covered.  I mean, if people go on and on and have convincing arguments, and I agree with them, do I really have to come up with something brand-new just to prove I'm not "going with the flow?"  Since I WAS reading from my phone, I didn't pick up on things like absences and lurking as fast as others did.  I miss the name of the poster a lot when I'm reading on my phone, and sometimes I don't notice who said what.  So with JVOR, of course I wasn't the first one to jump on him.  I didn't even notice he was gone until someone mentioned it.  By the time I got back on a computer, every argument against JVOR had been made.  I agreed with it all, so I said so.  I'm not one to take other people's ideas and pass them off as my own.

With DSage, I was actually firmly convinced that he was a zombie, because Kiv and Nae made good arguments.  I said they had good arguments, and I was inclined to believe them.  I wasn't sure at THAT point because DSage hadn't yet started all his "backpedaling" and stuff.  But once he did, THEN I was sold and went to vote.  On my phone.  After a bazillion people had already voted while I was texting.

Talya, since I got the Neighbor role, Nae picked up the Doctor role, and there were two killings, I think Pac might be a killer and Pale is probably the other one.  Since Kiv didn't have a killing role and JVOR didn't, and Arsis is dead (at this point I don't remember which of JVOR and Arsis actually went on the first mission), Pale had to have been lying about picking up a role.  He obviously has to be someone with a killing role.  Now, if he's lying, that's not good, but on the other hand, he killed scum, right?  So, who actually knows what his alignment is?

Although, after last night, one innocent and one scum/zombie died, so which person killed which?  Kiv and Nae were both supposedly innocent, so both Pale and Pac look suspicious to me.  Why kill practically confirmed innocents?

At this point, though, I'm more suspicious of Pale than Pac, because Pac suspected Kiv, and probably would've NKed Kiv.  Pale must then have gone after Nae.  Who was innocent.

Wait a second...  in Kiv's death scene it stated he was in fact a neighbor!  Are you saying DPR gave the same role to 2 different players on the first 2 missions?  With all those other roles left to distribute?  Now you're implying I got a killing role but guess what...  I didn't.

Yes, that's what I'm saying.  I don't know why the heck I got a Neighbor role, I was hoping for something more exciting, but I did.  I was rather disappointed about it too.

And, do you honestly think I would make such a bogus claim, when all these eyes are on me, if it wasn't true?  I'm not THAT stupid.

And I'm implying that you got a killing role because who else could have picked one up?  I really don't know who, since there have only been 2 missions.  Maybe DPR lied to me about my role, and choosing Kiv and Nae as neighbors actually killed them.  I doubt that he'd do that, but that's the only other option besides you picking up a killing role.

Everyone else who's gone on a mission besides you, me, and Pale is dead.

and I think it's awfully convenient that you chose the 2 dead players to communicate with when you got your role...  that doesn't leave anyone to confirm your story.

I know, and that's what's so irritating.  Basically, I couldn't reveal OR hide my role without risking suspicion.  If I hid it, then people would think I have a killing role.  If I reveal, people think it's probably BS because Kiv and Nae died.  It's so frustrating.  And a "cruel twist of fate" as DPR put it.

Anyway, like I said, why would I make such a bogus claim if it weren't true?

I know it could be him Lia. it was just tyhe first thing that struck me about the way it was written. This time wee voted for JVOR and he had his scene, then nae and Kivam had there own and were nk'd

I then thought why would someone nightkill there own team, and when someone mentioned there could be two mafia teams, well it came back and hit me again so to speak.

Now there has been another two kills. Now if Pale is the vig, would his kill increase by one each night? Maybe there are two people Pale and someone else. If my little theory (not one set in gold, just more a thought) then both Meesh and Pac could have a kill each. Either way there are three possibles for the nk's.

I believe Meesh is lying. I can't believe she had another neighbour role. Funny she would choose two people who happen to die, very convient. Why choose someone who is gunning for you?

I would like to see what Pale says, but he'd better hurry and get in here!

we should probably start looking at some of the more inactive players, like becky, not posting is the best way to hide a PR

I don't know.. I couldn't communicate with nae direct, only through Kivam, and like i said earlier, there was a total of about 4-5 pm's exchanged

I'm guessing he was about to give up his teammate in order to seem make himself seem innocnet, so I'll take his handout. The dude is ruthless lol

[glow=red,2,300]

vote meenshal[/glow]

I don't think his handout would be quite that obvious, Kivam doesn't work like that. However, I'd not be surprised if he did a slightly more subtle move with his shot at Pac in that post. That could be his handout.

[glow=red,2,300]Vote: Pac[/glow]

Dragonsworn and Hybrid bug me the most with how quiet they are. I'm considering a blue vote on one of the two.

One of those two is scum, I'm almost postive. The thing is that Kivam only had slight pressure when he posted that my guess is the cultist was going to give up his scum teammate in and effort to seem more innocent. And then use the windfall from that to go after Pac (who is likely innocent imo)

I think all kivam was doing was staging the next 2 lynches for us, all while keeping himself smelling like roses

Posted

Meesh how convienent you picked Kiv and Nae as you neighbors. Why would you waste the neighbor role in such a way when Kiv had already chose Nae ? Nice try but this makes you look even more guilty.

Yeah, that's what Pac said.  Like I said, why would I make this up?  It doesn't take any suspicion off of me.

And it's not a waste.  Kiv and Nae were in communication with each other, and I wanted to join in their group.  You're assuming that Kiv and I were already in communication, because in that instance, yes it would be a dumb move.  But I wasn't.  Kiv's notoriously good, and Nae is good too, so it made sense to pick those two players to see what would happen and what they said.

Again, I also believed Kiv was innocent, because he kept bringing down guilty players.

***

Okay, so now everyone's saying "how convenient that I picked the two players who died."  I sent in my PM last night before I went to bed.  Before Kiv and Nae died.  I know it sounds "too convenient" and like BS.  It really does.

So, knowing it sounds like BS, WHY ON EARTH WOULD I SAY IT?  Really?  I'm smarter than to come up with a really crappy story that would only call more suspicion down on me.

Who else than Nae did Kivam choose as his neighbor? Was it JVOR? If so I'm wondering if it was some kind of twisted Lover type thing where they died because JVOR died. Though I'm not sure why the Mod would include 2 of these type roles in the game if DSage and Dae were a kind of twisted Lovers too.

Either way Meesh is looking really suspicious. I doubt that the Mod would give out the exactly same role twice. And if Kivam was lying (which granted is likely, as he was a MafiaZombie) still, wouldn't Nae have shown up as a Neighbor as well?

Sorry - but it does seem very scummish to do.

I'm torn between CTM and Pale for the blue vote. Do I go with the group or do I go with someone who appears to be very, well, off - for lack of a better term.

Though, Loki does have a point - Hybrid has been inactive this game.
