I don't like anagrams in these games, and ignore what they mean most of the time, they kinda get on my nerves...so your "OMGUS" means nothing to me...even saying it wasn't one of those votes, you say. You seemed to jump on him pretty quick after he did it, 'tis all.

 

Plus I have nothing much to go on, Pandy is being Pandy. I would prefer a vote and lynch day one, I think we get info on it and you had the most at the time.

 

I now see that others followed suit pretty damn quick after you did, which also seems a little bit scummy as we knew that we didn't have long left for the dy.

 

I won't be around at the time of lynch because of time zones, so I had to get something in now, incase I can't get around to it later.

Sorry... OMGUS  mean Oh My God You Suck, and is usually used to describe someone who votes for a person just because they voted for them.

 

Like I said, the timing of his vote was troubling because essentially we had spent a good portion of the first 2 days trying to understand game mechanics rather then building wagons and voting. That left a short window today to get the vote leader (me with 3 votes) up to the needed 13 votes for a lynch.

 

Him placing that vote on me at that time, given the non existant competing vote counts virtually assured that i would be a strong lynch contender today, for fear of the no lynch. Thats why I think it was scummy..

 

re: the competing trains, I think they are good and not scummy at all. The fact that we are 7 hours out from a deadline virtually assures that votes today would be quick, and unfortunately, the timing is now dictating people to choose between pandy and I.

Thats my take as well.. Even if Kiv is innocent and picks two innocents, with an active cult it'd only be a matter of time before our mason group became atleast partially anti town..

I do have to admit that you having 4 votes on did contribute to my decision. I will keep an eye on things and change if Pandy goes above and beyond, but it won't be till the end, I have work in the morning...unfortunately. I still think you get info from a lynch day 1 than if nothing happens.

(scratching head)  Not sure the value of the neighbor thing when you don't know one anothers alignment.  Especially with Kivam, if he does happen to be dirty he could really mess your head up.  

 

As far as voting it's really odd playing a game where you don't know most of the players.  Panda's play may be normal to those who know him but to me it's the closest thing we have to a case.  Yet, Ive played with people that are kinda sporadic and tuff to read on day 1. Then get lynched even as innocents.  At JN we call that "Teh Jetsbabe rule".

 

I think not lynching is useless and we are going to have to decide.  Im just not sure whats best yet.

Hm...  I agree that Pandy's random-seeming vote is suspicious, but on the other hand, it could just be his playing style.  I wouldn't know.

Being new to a game with this many twists I like more experienced players take on how they see things unfolding.

 

If he's dirty it's only a matter of time before he's caught (especially since this puts him on everyones radar for the remainder of the game) but if he's innocent we're lynching someone who could really be an important player.

I guess the reality is we have to pick between these two choices.  As much as I like voting for CTM, Panda's quick re-direction and vote is as suspicious as anything Ive seen this game.  Granted not great, but day 1 is day1.  We need do need to lynch today.  A no lynch would be a waste of almost 30 pages of posting.

I agree with you that a lynch is better then a no lynch which is why I'm going to have to argue for pandy at this point in lieu of no better option..

 

At the end of the day, I'm being voted because a) i didn't like eye roll smileys and b) I'm the vote leader .. I've been given nothing to defend against whereas at a minimum Pandy (And several others) are guilty of bandwagonning

I am taking my own read into this. It just doesn't make any sense to not even explain his vote. He was arguing with ANOTHER player and then just placed the vote. That's about as blatant a bandwagon as you can get. I gave him some time, CTM has defended himself to a point where I give him the benefit of the doubt for now. However, I will never trust this guy though, he's a slippery as a eel in a vat of crisco.

so that 9 panda, and 7 cmot jetson   .. was panda the one doing the metagame thing with toy? if so i cant see how he would have the nous to succsessfully be scum  .. and thats quite a suden shift considering cmot was the bandwagon favorite..   however, games without nonlynch penalties are prone to well people not geting lynched. which = less info = bad and panda has been playing since i was here last though so he should know how to metagame or at least what it is(assuming im thinking about the same person).  

 

to be honest im not geting evil vibes off either, but the thing on panda does seem pretty flimsy, and the quick turn around, started by cmot himself, is making me sorta fidgety. rhummy already said something about starting a band wagon on cmot so its not like it neededthat much of a reason (which is the reason that kivam and the rest who game reasons are on him right?)  ....ok i have no idea where all that leaves me so for now (yes i know it ends in 3 hours, ill be back.. hopefully)

also kivam, if u waited for the finder / healer  then they would have to reavel themselves too, making it mostly pointless (especially for the  finder if there is no healer about) for you to be forming a mason group with them ..since they would get NKed sharpish, i suppose there are some senarios, they could tell you all the known innocents if they go under cover for a while, or there are one or two plans you could possibly pull off, but its probably best (in my opinion,so ok maybe by no means the best :P ) if you chose two people who seem rather unscumish or who you want to spy on or whatever and chose them. and dont tell the rest of us, so the mason group will survive longer and ..beh you can take the thought the rest of the way, im geting tired of typing
