Hi everyone!

 

I'm new here, but I'm not new to the WoT online fandom - I'm also on TarValon.net, where I'm an Aes Sedai of the Green Ajah and also go by the name of Cealestis.

 

I'm really going to try to get into this site this time, I've tried before and found it all very confusing but I'll do my best. I hope some of you can help me a bit :p

 

Looking forward to get to know Dragonmount and the members!

I think most of us were a bit confused when we first landed here - best thing to do is ask loads and loads of questions. Don't worry about driving us crazy - must of us are already way beyond that point  ;D

Welcome to DM, Cea! I tried joining TarValon.net a few years ago, but I found it too confusing, big and scary. ;D Like Elgee said, ask lots of questions and we'll do our best to answer.

 

Do you have any idea about what you want to do here? There is the roleplay, for example, and if you just want to hang out and be social there are the Orgs.

 

Anyways, I hope you'll stick around and have lots of fun! :)

There's loads of people probably around here taht I know from Tarvalon but use other handles here. That will take some getting used to :p

 

Anyway - I will ask a lot of questions. Currently, Mystica's helping me a bit on MSN (she's a Green Sister at TV.net too, you see :p)...  And I will ask a lot of questions to anyone who is willing to answer!

 

I found that a lot of people who started at either TV.net or DM are very confused about the other site, and I hate to feel confused about something so I'm trying to overcome that for myself! ^_^ But if you're still interested in TarValon - this counts for everyone - I'm always willing to help out!

 

I'm HORRIBLY, terribly bad at RP. I've tried before and I guess I have enough fantasy to daydream, but not to RP, or maybe it's because I'm not a native English speaker, I dunno. It's sad, but it's true, no matter how often I tried, I failed every time. So no RP for me, but I'm definitely going to read, in there. It's fun to read RP!

 

I've already signed up for the WT Org, I would really like to know how the Ajahs are organized here (I heard it's all extremely different to TV.net, so I'm curious!), and way back in the days when I tried out this site for the first time I tried to join the Shayol Guhl org but found it all very confusing.

But I'm definitely looking into the other Orgs.

Welcome Cea ;D Good to see you make the jump to the dark side ;) Around these parts im Head Nutt of the Reds in the WT, Red Sash of the Kin, Blademaster at the Band, recently promoted to Youngling in the Wolfkin and for evermore DM Most Evil One. I 'think' that's it. LOL

 

I know from personal experience how odd and confusing it can be when you're used to one site to venture out on another. Took me aaaaaaaaaages to get the hang of tvnet and I'm still not quite there yet, despite me being a senior there now. But don't worry, I'm sure it won't be like that for you here. There are tons and tons of people just eager to help new members get settled in and draw them in to their mischief.

 

Whatever I can do to make you comfy here, just hollor. You know where to find me *snuggles*

I've always found Shayol Ghul to be pretty simple. Spam and stab people.

My name... Well, Cealestis was something I picked up on some forum back when I was 13 or something, and always used it as a handle wherever I went. And thus I also used it on TV.net (though it's not the only one I use, since I also use Aurora Deredrum at The Midlands Today (www.midlandstoday.net) and Sarah Pandemonium at Revelio). But I use it lots. I think it's a pretty name :look

And the last bit...

 

Honestly, I hate it, a Norwegian from TarValon once told me that dyren are animals in Norwegian and basically, my names means 'daughter of the animals', with the al' in front of it. I got rid of it on TarValon, but I registered here long before that. :p

So yeah I'm definitely considering getting rid of it here too but I wouldn't know who would do that.
