It's a joke people and Mynd's over analysis of my attempt at humor is the type of thing that makes people have sometimes had a problem with his style of play whether he is Mafia or Townie. :o

 

Question have Verbal Mynd and Dread Pirate Roberts played in the same game. Horrors, just the mere thought of it gives me nightmares.  :P

I don't really like getting into Mafia games on Day 1 too much but I'm going to go ahead and get started back-tracking. I don't know if it's going to do much good but I want to destroy this game...and I'm going to see if I can find anything.

 

I doubt I will but as Mynd said: "You can tell a lot from Day 1 posts and actions." Or something of the sort...

If I was mafia why would I want to avoid a random kill, it would clearly be in the mafias favor for a random kill.

I have reread the post and Mynd is the only one I can see standing out. Why would someone be in favor of discrediting votes unless they wanted a random kill. Who would want a random kill unless the odds favored them.

Okay I've just read the entire game thread through.

 

I've taken notes and seen that, as is typical on Day 1 in a mafia game, most everyone is having fun and random voting. I've also seen some go after DS and Mynd and I see not much reason to do so. They don't stick out to me as Mafia, not yet anyways. Mynd's post here, however, struck me:

That is why I am suspicious of MN. She seems to be trying harder and her mood has changed somewhat since the last game I played with her. She keeps going after CUBA and Hybrid for voting for "people the JBII role cares about" before that mess-up was cleared up...when all I see is them having fun on Day 1, no reasoning behind their votes what-so-ever. Except for CUBA voting Mynd on Day 1 being a good idea...which makes sense...I've heard horror stories...O.e

 

Also I can say that it's safe to say that DJ is the Messenger, if I'm wrong then someone...do tell me of my mistake.  :P

Well, due to Thorum's "blatantly random" vote on me, I am forced to put FDM in the majority spot.  I do find it curious why Thorum doesn't see a majority happening (with FDM already at two votes) but then turns around and votes me, putting me tied with FDM.  I wonder why he is so focused on me in this game?

I have to say, even though it's only day 1, [glow=red,2,300]DS[/glow] has come up looking suspicious. While I agree you can garner some from Day 1, it usually isn't until after the night's activities and suggesting just to sit back and "analyze" without doing anything is suspicious to me. Too easy to let a deadline "oops" slip by.

Where did I make a mistake?

 

- the person with the most votes will be lynched anyway.

- I don't see anyone with more probability of evilness than anyone else

- I want to take someone off the voted-for list, by changing my vote randomly to someone who already had one.

- I went to www.random.org; clicked on the list organiser; copy-pasted the list of votes; and voted for the first in the list.

I'm not metagaming, I'm just saying that she sticks out to me. Granted, she stuck out to me in the last mafia game I played with her but the way she's playing now just...IDK. I'm trying to do something here on Day 1 which some have suggested and, of course, not getting much to go from. That's why I voted for MN, because she seems most mafia to me ATM and I mainly gathered that based on feelings and Day 1 crappy info. :-\

 

Now, I've never played a mafia game with DS either but I'm not so sure that he's Mafia just yet. Although Hybrid was Mafia in that last game...and NO ONE ever suspected it... O.e

 

Also, Mynd, people seem to be going after you because you are a very dangerous player. o.O That is all.

I played one in SG and it was fun so I saw this and decided to join in.

I must of missed this rule. I will go back through them and reread. Sorry guys for the mix up, the first game I don't think I had chance to edit my posts. I am trying to play this very analytically and look at all sides. So from this post forward, no more editing, I swear.

We had two players promissing this about 10 times between them in my last game. They both escaped being lynched for this, but both turned out to be mafia.

 

Ask Mynd. I've forgotten who the second one was. Sorry for that.
