New To The Story

Honestly, I have just started reading the Wheel of Time (probably about 3 months) and I'm a REALLY slow reader, so im only on the third book. I fell in love with the series on like Chapter five of The Eye of the World. I'm realy trying not to stumble onto information I shouldn't know yet (wouldn't want to ruin the series :o) but i'll try to stick my opionin in know and then.

I think that you'll love Dragonmount, because there's something here for everyone, even those that aren't done reading the books.  And most people, in my experience, are very nice, so you should be making friends in no time! :)

 

The Orgs are great for community activities and making friends pretty informally, and that's where I spend all my time.

 

However, there are fun communities in other places on Dragonmount too! 

 

Just look around at your own pace, and if you have any questions or want to chat you can always PM me!

Slow reader?!?  It took me at LEAST two months to finish EotW my first time round!  Keep making me look bad, and I may have to do something...rash.

first of all, don't listen to Emp. That's good advise on any day. But especially on this one. *nods*

 

Second, I kinda' envy you. You're still exploring the WoT world and it's still all new to you and exciting! You're in for a hell of a lot of treats, let me tell you that much. :D And yes, you may need to be carefull, as spoilers do happen on DM and they aren't always announced int eh thread titles. So basically, I think if you see something that you can't recall from the books you read so far, move on. I would recommend against painting your monitor black though.

Hey, I like your style emperor...I notice that the band was first on that little list...though that would be quite a feat to conquer the band seeing as how the band can't lose as long as we've got mat cauthon around....This is a great place to just hang out though with a bunch of other likeminded fans, but it's going to be a trick not getting info from anything else randomly picked up. Mainly stay away from the discussions on the books I would recommend for starters...that's a sure fire way to get a lot spoiled. Welcome!
