White Tower Mafia - Game Over

Oh yeah, Sammy.... A Vigilante is an innocent player who gets to call in a Night Kill.  They have to be careful because they might kill a fellow innocent player.  With both the Healer and the Vigilante out of the game, and no Mafia deaths yet, we are not doing so hot....but the bright side is that we have narrowed down the likely list of Mafia suspects.

We could take our chances on an inactive, but I am really suspicious of Verbal right now.  I am open to alternatives, but without the healer, we could lose the game with a wrong pick.

OK, time to be serious now.  I'm actually not feeling the Verbal lynch right now.  During Day 1, my memory is that Verbal was advocating the cautious, let's-make-sure-we-don't-speed-lynch-the-wrong-person approach.  But I'm going to do a reread and see what I can find.  I'm still a little suspicious of Mynd though.  I mean, that's a pretty crazy play to pull, but it is a typical Myndrunner play on the other hand.

And now, a quick summary of my thoughts:

1. Krugster - Not much to go on.  Played it cautiously, didn't vote Day 1.

2. Myndrunner - Standard mynd games or ... Black Ajah?  :o

3. Tigara - Brown Ajah - Innocent - Modkilled, Day 1

4. Naeann - I am confident in her innocence.

5. Hybrid - I am confident in my own innocence.

6. Catina - She did originally call attention to my unvoting.  Voted me Day 1. 

7. Verbal - My read is the lets-not-be-reckless veteran advice.

8. Spirit - Besides gender ambiguity (I kid, I kid), not much to go on.  Voted Mynd Day 1 back in his crusade against me.

9. Danya - Green Ajah - Vigilante - Killed Night 1

10. Jaydena - Not much to go on.  Voted Spirit because she didn't want a random kill.

11. Cairos - Busy with school work.  Perhaps ... the Mesaana-type school work?  :o 

12. Liathiana - Not much to go on.  Voted Naeann, then voted me for majority sake.  Not as obsessed as Naeann with Warders because she can defend herself.  Perhaps that is because she is ... Black Ajah?  :o 

13. Samuraiflip - I am confident in his innocence.

14. Dark Justice - Yellow Ajah - Healer - Killed Night 1

 

My reread didn't give me any suspicious vibes on Verbal, though.  My three main suspects right now are Catina, Jaydena, and Mynd, not necessarily in that order.  Catina because she called suspicion on my unvote but then let Mynd do all the accusing.  Jaydena because of her vote placement on Spirit.  Mynd because of his voting reasons and finger pointing, though as always he remains a difficult person to get a read on.  For now, I will vote [glow=red,2,300]Catina[/glow].

Sorry about the inactivity here guys. I have been playing 3 mafia games and keeping track of them all is pretty intense. I am trying to come up with suspects but so far I have failed in this. I am going to reread  and see what I can come up. And I apologize about not getting ym vote in day1 I slept in and missed the deadline :(

Ok, lets not forget that we still have our finder out there.  It goes without saying that even if you find a mafia, a reveal would be devestating with our healer gone and no mafia down.  There are other ways of letting us know if you found someone mafia....

 

Mod Question: If I Block one of the Mafia, do I have to block the one that sends in the NK or would blocking one of them suffice?

um hybrid its hard not to let myndrunner do all the accusing he kinda takes it.  your unvote was funny though but i also was pointing out how fast jaydena and myndrunner voted with you.  myndrunner claimed that it was random in honor of some friend of his but im sure that was a likely story to make it look innocent.  but jaydena voting for spirit she had to know there were two votes on her already. 

 

dont vote for me because i was pointing something out that was truly odd cuz i was also making comments about myndrunner and jaydena.  while i think myndrunner could be lying to us i think that of everyone that i have seen jaydena seems to be the one who would give us some answers.  and with our healer gone if myndrunner is really the power blocker he is our only defense against a night kill.  so um [glow=red,2,300]jaydena[/glow]

 

i also find it interesting that myndrunner has stopped going after you.  you two could be working together and pretending to be angry with each other.  it explains why you both initially voted together.

Catina, you do make a point about Jaydena, but I assure you that my vote was completely random.  Loki, one of the vets who has disappeared, always would vote #8 on Day One.  It was his justification for the randomness of the phase.  Jaydena jumped right on as vote #3 not long after me.....very mafia like.

 

Now you are also not off the hook, milady!  It is a likely mafia ploy to side with me to get out of my finger pointing path and fly below the radar.  Remember, you were the one to point out Hybrid's vote change, I just ran with it to get reactions from everyone.  I'm surprised how sure you were of Hybrid's guilt after my relatively weak accusations....

 

Hybrid, I suggest that you keep your vote on Catina and I keep mine on Verbal.  The one with the weakest arguement or the one who ends up looking more mafia gets the lynch.  Fair enough?  I have a feeling that BOTH of them may be mafia.....and we should also keep an eye on how Jaydena votes as well.

Im also slightly suspicious about you guys...I mean, Masons are just innocent mafia and your claims could be a big fib....but nonetheless, I am taking your words for it.  It makes sense in this game.

Hey sorry everyone, I have a DM person at my house so it's been crazy. Just jumping on to say I am still here. Having read through everything. My response is that, to be honest I have done like 2 of these games I think and I almost always am  the first to die. So I guess lack of experience is my reason. I just have been reading the other games and saw that the first vote is always random and it's never a mafia, so I thought we needed to get the ball rolling and the game started by lynching someone at random. That's my only excuse, you can believe me or not believe me at this point. *Laughs* I think I am off to bed now. Will try and check tomorrow but it's my bday dinner.

Mynd, I've got 2 posts that deal with me talking either to or about you so far.  In neither case am I siding with you.....just showing caution after your reveal.

 

I'm not trying to metagame here, but it doesn't seem right that a mafia Mynd would be pushing so hard to lynch a single innocent on Day 1.  If Hybrid is innocent, and Mynd is mafia, a 1-for-1 trade is great for the innocents, and crappy for the mafia.  It just doesn't make sense.  I don't see him pushing so hard if he was mafia.

 

Please don't think I'm defending him, either.  Mynd, you know that pointing fingers in too many directions can end up doing as much harm to the innocents as it can to the mafia.  I know that isn't your intent (at least I assume it isn't), but sometimes it works like that.

 

And the second:

 

So, one would assume that your comment means that you are only aware of those three possibilities.....meaning that you are either the Healer, Finder, or the Mafia. 

 

That statement makes no sense, Mynd.  What if she is innocent and assuming a normal mafia game setup?  What if she has another action not mentioned and doesn't want to give it away?  What if she forgot your "reveal"?

 

And don't bother saying I'm rushing to her defense, either.  Remember, she voted me in Day 1.  I'm saying this because making conclusive posts like yours does not help without a basis in logic.  And your statement was illogical.

 

Neither of these posts have me defending you, Mynd.  In the first post, I advise caution after a reveal, and in the second post, I say you are being illogical.

 

 

To address another question:

I certainly didn't side with you based on my above posts.  I did, however, advise caution voting somebody who role revealed something practical on Day 1.  Don't confuse not wanting to lynch a POTENTIAL innocent-roled player from siding with you.  Your reveal didn't seem too far fetched, but that doesn't mean I'm president of your fanclub, either. ;)  You don't actually HAVE a fanclub, do you?  :-\

Actually, I do have a fan club....and hate mail too!  :-\  Well, what do you guys think?  Both Jaydena and Verbal have stated their case.  Verbal claims to not have sided with me, but look at his posts, he's playing both sides really....he's desperately trying not to associate himself with anyone.  Sounds pretty mafia to me....but do we buy Jade's claim that "Oh, I'm a newbie! I don't know nuttin bout no Mafia or Lynchin, Miss Scarlett!"

 

Cat is also very suspect and right now has two votes on her.  Before I change my vote to go with the majority, I would request three things:

 

1) Catina needs to defend herself effectively, or she'll get my vote....and likely be our victim

 

2) We should really look at Lianth and Spirit's posts carefully and in the context of being desperatly innocent.

 

3) Our Finder should read one of the three masons and confirm their identity.

 

We haven't gotten any mafia at this point so we need to be very careful in who we select...

ok since it seemed to work for myndrunner let me reveal my identity.  i am nothing more than a roleless innocent brown ajah.  i have no power other than to use my brains to figure out who is the black ajah before its too late.  if you lynch me you would be lynching an innocent.

 

myndrunner could be lying about being a power blocker.  he has lied about his role before in other games and this could just be a trick to save his butt.  the problem is that if he is telling the truth, he makes a good point about being the only one who can save us from the mafia night kill.  i woudlnt take that chance.

 

i still think that jaydena is someone we should keep an eye on even if she is new like me.  i do kinda buy her story though cuz it seems likely that an administrator who also has a busy life outside of here wouldnt have much time here.  still she could just be sneaky like that but there is enough doubt for me now to unvote. so [glow=red,2,300]unvote[/glow].

 

which brings me to liathiana.  why is she pushing for a lynch on myndrunner still if he could be the power blocker?  i dont think any of us believe myndrunner completely but we cant take the risk that he is telling the truth.  i would have to admit that i would be a more likely candidate to lynch than myndrunner at this point just cuz his role could be more valuable and we cant risk losing him.  im just a roleless innocent with nothing to help besides my brains.  i hope at least some see those as assetts.

 

anyways these are just my thoughts.  i would like to hear back from liathiana on why she is pushing for a lynch on someone who could be telling the truth and could help us.  so im gonna vote [glow=red,2,300]liathiana[/glow] either way unless she sways me another way.

 

and myndrunner dont get a big head or nothing.  you could be lying your butt off and we will probably lynch you for real if you are. lol.
