Hornsounder PROMOTION: new Senior Editor

Many of you may not know this, though you see the result of it every month. Most of you probably never stop to consider it, though hours of work and dedication have been poored into it. Few of you may realise the level of devotion and commitment that has been given freely and without fault month after month. But rest assured that no effort, small or great, put into the Hornsounder goes unnoticed.

 

For an unrelenting streak of service and dedication shown to the Hornsounder and it's readers, it is my extreme pleasure to announce the

 

OFFICIAL PROMOTION

 

Bridmorgan to Senior Editor of the Hornsounder!

 

 

Brid has for many months now worked behind the scenes together with DJ, performing the duties of the SE. Between the two of them, the Hornsounder has not missed a single publication, even when there was little to no guidance for them to draw on. Brid has been in all of this a fantastic teamplayer. Without complaint she has taken on tasks and covered during LOA's that did not fit in the description of her official role and she has done a spectacular job at it each time. Whatever is asked of her, it is never too much or too difficult. Whatever help is needed, she is the first to step forward and offer it. Whoever needed support, Brid was there to offer it. Freely, openly, calmly and with a steadfastness that would make any Aes Sedai proud.

 

She has been a steady force of support to both DJ and myself and has more than earned this promotion. A promotion that will do nothing to change the contents of what she does already, as she has been working the job of a SE for many months already. But a promotion that gives her what she so rightfully deserves. The official recognition of her work and all the rights and priveledges that come with it.

 

 

 

The Hornsounder now has 2 Senior Editors:

Direwolf Jon and Bridmorgan

 

They will continue to work as a duo team from here on and divide all the different aspects of the Senior Editor's job between them. Together, DJ and Brid will run the daily operations of the newspaper and do what they do best, as they have proven for the last year.

 

No Editor in Chief could ever wish or hope for a better staff and I count myself extremely lucky to be in that position.  :-*
