I like how Jason finally able to tell that bert guy off.

Specially how the cop guy said jason had things so easy, and jason just wtf pwned that arguement. ;)

Specially that one about how jason gets all the girls, THe cop says he don't have do nothing for it, Jason says 'like hell I don't, I work out like a motha F***er'.

I think my fav quote from him was, "Do you think he could turn into a chicken, and lay an egg, and eat it?"

I really, REALLY hope that they adopt some of Jason's storyline from the books now, knowing his reactions to Sam's identity.

You make a good point about the book story line.  Speaking of... what was Sookie's cousin doing at the Queen's place?

Eh... I didn't love this finale.

I want to know how Bill would have healed Sam if she would have... you know... cut out his heart like she should have.

For people that are so hallow inside they sure do have their memories in tact when they are sporting those black eyes.

I still don't like the queen.  She feels like a little girl playing with dolls to me and not at all regal or powerful.

There wasn't enough bad ass Eric.

I agree with all of Emp's points. In fact we watched it in a group of sx and that was basically the consensus--in addition it was slow. They solved the seasonal big point early in the episode and the rest felt like wrap up and set up for the next season.

In defense of the Queen (though I also don't like her) the role she is aspiring to is somewhat conflicted. Charlaine Harris is a somewhat self-involved writer, her work tends to be a bit indulgent and insipid--fantasy romance. As such the characters often contradict themselves. Sophie-Anne Leclerq is a very strong character in the books, but she has (quite jarring) girly moments that fit quite well with the portrayal in the show.

It's not to say it's a good thing, frankly Harris' lack of overall direction has annoyed me with the book series (though she gets better around All Together Dead), but the actress is doing a fair shot at emulating the character on which her role is based.

There were some conflicting moments for me. I hated the Bill proposal. I hated Sookie accepting. I hated how he was actually taken by surprise and dragged out of there. It bugs me how they are pushing  **BOOK SPOILER*** the whole Sookie and Bill romance, when in the books they weren't even together that long. I still think it was a fun episode though. Eric playing Yahtzee and sucking at it was precious. :)

Does anyone else suspect maybe it wasn't Eric who dragged Bill out of there? I find it suspicious that despite seeing him say he'll take care of Bill himself earlier in the episode, we don't actually get to see him take Bill. And, erm, I'd like to see as much Eric screentime as possible. *g*

I was tired of the Maryann storyline about three episodes into it. Even so, I wish they'd done a more exciting job with the end of it. I liked Sam actually killing her, but all the build up was just more of the same we've been seeing all season with the black eyes and crazy behavior.

Is Jessica on a rampage, or just acting out a little bit?? That will be interesting to watch next season. She was one of the most interesting bits of this year.
