The rain poured outside. Curtains half-drawn could not hide the grey wetness that had been summer only a week before. Sighing softly, and guiltily thinking about the work yet to be done, he did something that seemed a relic of his past. Again.

 

Hey everybody! I'm back!

 

"Who are you? And why are you back? Where from?" I hear you ask (or I would, at least, if i were near you, and you actually said it)

Well I shall promtly bring you up to date.

 

I am the Band's self appointed silly artist, and inventor of the long-shot surprise, wich most or all of you don't remember or have never heard about. I was very briefly known to ride a ice-bear (since, being an archer, i could not have a horse) and my posts were ever few and far between. I hail from the cold wastes of Norway (wich may or may not explain strange wording and erratic grammar) and have to many favorite writers to mention.

 

So why am I here then. Well.. why not? It's been a fair long time since i made a post, and I thought it might be funny to see if any of the old gang was still active. Also, new people? Hi!

 

As for whats been happening, it's mostly more of the same, plus new stuff.

The same is working, working and sleeping. New stuff is I'm going to be a dad soon.

..Yes.

..A girl. No, we have not come up with a name yet.

So that should just about cover it for me.

 

Whats up with you guys then? How's Corky been treating the Band? Who are the cool new Banders that I haven't met yet, and more importantly: How much, on a scale from 1 to lots, have you missed me?

 

Come on, I want some news :)

Hey Jimmith. I'm one of the newbies (even if I am the Captain-General of the Archers, lol). :D

 

Corki is currently in Wales exploring the realms of muppetdom. There are a couple of threads hanging around telling of his misadventures. ;D I've been trying to exert my corrupting influence over the archers but to no avail, mainly because they've all gone on holiday. :P

Great news on going to be a dad! We've had a bumper load of new babies in recent months, so you're joining that gang!

 

June wasn't a great month for Corki - as el Nyn mentioned, a few misadventures. July wasn't great either due to lack of net access, but I do have a job come September now that I have finished/graduated university.

 

It's always good to see old names come back! :)

Thanks people, I'm quite exited about dad-hood, and kids do seem to like me, even if i find them rather annoying most of the time :D

 

Mira: It may be difficult getting one by yourself, but don't let that stop you from trying. In these matters the trying in itself is quite enjoyable, or so I am lead to believe.

 

Froix, eh? Well, I'm sure there's at least one fox-like knight that would like that very much :p

 

Corky: Congrats on the graduation and getting a job! Now you can join the grown-up's (or should that be groan-up's..). Making money, babies, you name it. Also, the happiness stops now, it's serious-time. For the rest of you life.

Things are kinda quiet with it being summer but we're plodding along.  :)
