I wonder if it is possible that Alys is the Paranoid Cop.  I know we almost have her lynched, so this should let you all know that I'm honestly saying I'm the Finder.  If Alys really is a Finder, then she's the Paranoid one by getting guilty for me.

 

However, Loki is right and she could be the symp.  Either way, I think lynching her is good, as I see only 3 options for her role:

 

1.  Mafia - I don't have to go into detail here.....

 

2.  Symp - just as good as getting the mafia

 

3.  Paranoid Cop - won't help us anyway, as we won't be able to get an accurate reading....

 

Wes, my PM didn't say Normal Cop....it just said Investigator.  Makes me think that Alys MIGHT be telling the truth and is the Paranoid Cop.  Interrogator does kinda sound like it could be the paranoid one, while investigator sounds more normal to me.  Just throwing that out there - any thoughts?

 

And does anybody happen to have another Big Mac?

Well, that would change things given that she had no other way to know about the term Interrogator.

 

That is, unless it was totally invented because she did not know that the Mod was going to reveal the roles. It would be easy enough for you to be the symp, false claim to announce yourself, and then wait for the mafia to pik up on it, and run with it.

 

There are five players on the board, and right now you could both be the finders. Or you could be the symp and the mafia, staging a go-for-broke scheme.

 

We are going to have to get everyone elses opinion on this, and go back to see if there were any "searching for you" clues you might have left for each other.

After Barm’s watch had been looted by Wes, the group returned to the main room for another round of ‘Find the Mafia’. The voting started with Alys voting Verbal because she was sure that his finder claim was false. However, this argument was considered suspicious by Wes who kept making subtle glances in the sleeping Loki’s direction. At some point in the day both Verbal and Loki decided to bandwagon on Wes’s idea and vote Alys. This meant that the majority vote was to lynch Alys. With reluctance on the part of Danya who muttered something about the Hippocratic Oath, the rope was searched for again.

“Not another pointless lynch,” Danya groaned before wandering into the bedroom Verbal followed her shutting the door and muttering something about having smelt Big Macs in the wardrobe...

As Wes waited for Loki to do something with the rope, Loki pulled a lever on the wall and a 16 tonne weight fell on Alys. Meanwhile in the bedroom Verbal found himself pounced upon by rabid chipmunks and Danya was eaten by the homicidal pillows and mattress Utilising that oldest of pirate traditions Wes decided to give up on idolising the mafia and run away. Unfortunately, using the power of Fiddlesticks Loki managed to create a massive vat of rum in the middle of the room and drop Wes in it. Wes has not been seen since...

 

Mafia have won the game.

Bummer that I happened to view Barm night 1, and Loki NKed him the same night.  That was why I said I viewed an innocent, but my bad luck intervened, lol.

heh - that sucks when you get mod-jacked like that. But, Mod rule is absolute, and it does provide delicious opportunites for symps. I was just glad rolled with it. But, in all honesty, it wouldn't have mattered. Loki was lowest on the radar out of anyone. He was probably going to win no matter who died.
