she still could be a crazy finder, and just get random resultys, if it was flip of a coin, then two mafia viewngs in a row wouldnt  be to far away from statistics.

 

and there is a minor flaw in kivams logic here, if you are mafia, then you could roleblock the dude but also tell your teammates not to submit a kill.

 

on another note i still think that with kivam having a turncote role, this basically makes him  a symp. the mafia arnt going to lynch him, because he might turn, and if it all starts going pearshaped for the innoncents  he could take the option of defecting. so useing kivams logic from the other day, lynching kivam will proably give us the most information and it will have the added bonus of covering us at a later date. so [glow=red,2,300]kivam[/glow]

We do have too many players laying low right now.  I need to hear from:

 

No need to be so aggressive about it - i would like to hear from or sommat like that. Some of us may feel a) intimidated at the post rate in this game and/or b) on a retreat for a couple of days - unfortunately Abbey's don't have regular net connections.

 

Now that little bit of protocol is out the way, my thoughts. Having just read the last 5 pages or so, the big warning siren is going off on theDude. Something doesn't twig and im far far more inclined to believe Jelly and Kivam than TheDude. And yet evidence is still not conclusive enough to legitimate a vote.

 

However one major major point to consider. Kiv, you say you blocked TheDude and no NK occured (therefore he is mafia). This is clearly flawed - it is highly likely that a healer chose to protect either Jelly or theDude, and that is whom they chose to try and kill. Therefore whilst there is still a chance that you are correct and you did successfully block theDude, there is easily a counterargument. And that is inclining me not to believe you...

1) I assure you that no one is helping me with my posts.

 

2) If you look at the time of when my posts started to get so, as you say, 'eloquent' then that should tell you something. I said, i am pretty darn sure i said, that i had a major French project to do. I turned it in on Friday and i am happy that that ordeal is over with. I have a LOT more time to focus on this game.

 

3) Do you think that the mafia would suddenly have me go from 'spam' "This game is like work" to a half page on each post of my thoughts. I think that that would ping too many radars. You might be at the moment reading this and still thinking that i am mafia getting help. You are trully mistaken my friend.

 

4) Since i have more time i can, as you have just seen, post a good bit more of my thoughts.  Which requires the much needed use of the 'preview'. Which really really helps a lot, i can see mistakes that might be read the wrong way and i can go in and change them.

 

I am going to re-read the last few posts through again. I will be back in a bit to discuss more. I just wanted to get that point across.  ;)

I think that there's a third option here that was mentioned a while back, both the dude and Kivam are playing us.  They're both mafia and we have a finder but she's looney, unless there's another unclaimed finder out there.

 

Kivam said that he role blocked the dude and that led to no night kill meaning he's mafia.  The dude claimed that he didn't get any views last night because he was blocked... whose to say that isn't a completely contrived story on both there parts...?

 

Here is something to chew on:

 

Whay if they are both mafia and the mafia are using the Dude as a kamikazee? Make everyone believe that Kivam is an innocent role-blocker that blocked a mafia NK? That way, a mafia, Kivam, can go under the radar untill the end. We lynch the Dude and Kivam is all for it, we believe he is innocent and a role-blocker, there-fore crucial to the innocents. No one wants to lynch him because he is vital to the good guys. Has anyone thought of this?

this whole game compared to the others, your much more wordy and less pingy on a mafiadar, which is different (yes i kno metagaming = bad im just pointing it out). different means either its something external (your paper) or something in game (your evil/roled)

I would say that it is 2 things external:

 

1) Is my paper. It is done with and this is now the only thing that i am working on.

 

2) When i used to get on the computer all i would do is DM. Now i am doing a browser based MMO and am on the forum's for that game, while also doing the mafia games on here. I can post crap there, do the game, and on DM focus on nothing but the Mafia game.

 

And another thing that would make me so 'wordy' is cuz when i saw that when the masters of the Mafia game got going they REALLY got going. I want to become a master at this game too and have people go 'It's the legendary Blig!!' so i realized that i had to boost my play.  ;)

 

Now, are we going to talk about the game and our theories or what?  :)

At this point, I don't think elaborating more theories about Kiv the dude and Jelly will get us far, not without new info anyway so I'm tempted to follow Loki's lead seeing as Kiv is the more "expandable" of the 3, his coroner report + the results of the viwings should bring snew light on all this. Still, I won't immediately follow suit until I'm convinced ther's no other solution.

 

That being said, unless the 3 are Mafia, which is highly unlikely (a game without Finder would be too unbalanced) we have to try and figure out who the other Mafia are.

 

At a time like this, when we so critically need new info, I'm very suspicious of people wanting a non-lynch = people not voting + no coroner report. Besides, doesn't a non-lynch equals random lynch or 2 NKs or stg? (that's a question to Barmys) That's why Leelou and Blig are pinging my radar, the latter even more because of his weirdiness (yes, it's a word)

 

Also, on a crazy hunch barely worth mentioning, if Kiv turns out evil, I'd eye Dae because his "don't get aggressive" could be an act to distance himself from Kiv.

Sincere and continued apologies for my absence. In addition to a revision crunch I'm now having a full-on dispute with my landlord, which, for bonus points, is also my university. I've given them an ultimatum to get their affairs in order before I move out of my expensive and uninhabitable halls of residence. My last exam is Thursday and my ultimatum expires next week. So one way or another I should be back on form soon. Sorry again and SWEET MERCIFUL GODS my first year at university did not need enlivening this way.  :-[ :'(

My personal lynch direction would be Leelou (for suggesting a no-kill today, which isn't always a mafia tactic but in this particular circumstance seems to make no sense at all).

 

Loki, I'm discounting a healer save because if I were mafia, I wouldn't have gone anywhere near either the Dude or Jelly last night, and I can't imagine that the healer accurately saved the right 3rd party.  On the other hand, it's entirely possible that the mafia made a mistake and targeted one of the two.

 

But I can't really argue against my lynch giving you a ton of information, since when I come up as an innocent roleblocker you'll know you need to lynch the Dude, and the healer will know to protect Jelly.  C'est la vie.

Definately aint a reason to lynch you - it was just that, combined with the accusation that we were intentionally lying low certainly felt aggressive - i need to hear from these people implying that if you dont hear from these people something is going to happen
