and vemy if you were a politician right now there would be headlines declaiming spin and u-turn ..but then its mafia and yes um basically er i fine your backing down when under pressure mafiaish. howeven like usuall im proably going to be wrong and as usual my first instinct (naeann) will turn up guilty some days later and ill be like damn boy why dont you ever listen

loki, of course I have had a change of opinion...the two I thought most likely to be evil were innnocent, and one of them was the finder...

 

and I said before i think naeann and fdm might be working together, this hasn't changed. You coming to their defense, you instigating the vote on me, instead of them, this is what makes me think that out of everyone your the 3rd mystery member.

when did i come to their defence, i voted nae on day one, which i would ahve stuck with to the end of a nae lynch, and it was only because of the fame of the dudes hunchs i chabged to blig at the end. and your vote, for her, which is long after my vote for you and is only the second one on her in the whole game that i can remeber, and i voted you for the way you were going after jelly(before the reveal) because i thought she looked innocent.

'It's a doozy', you think, while remembering the events of the past hour. You remember Jelly getting cozy with DPR, how he stroked her hair in return, and they looked so happy. You remember how The Dude joined them, obviously ready to do what he had to to keep Wes on his best behavior. You remember as the argument gets a little heated, and how as bored patrons of the bar join in the argument for no other reason you think, than to pass the time.

You remember how Loki Redffern and Daetirion got into a fistfight, and how DPR and The Dude both suddenly took to defending Jelly against the attackers. You remember how Vemynal tried to jump in to break up the fight at exactly the wrong time, and you remember the gunshot coming from the bar. The gunshot that should have killed Daetirion. You remember Vemynal drop to his knee's, start clutching at his chest, and drop face first to the ground. You remember the slow shuddering gasp he makes as his body finally dies. And worst of all, you remember how everyone immediately starts patting down his corpse, looking for anything of value, and any clue of whether or not he killed the Lady Kathana. And the disappointment in the bartenders eyes when nothing was found.

 

Remembering all these things, you quickly drain your drink, and go to the bar for another, only staggering slightly.

 

Vemynal, a roleless innocent is dead. It is now night. Night ends Monday at midnight, or whenever I get on my computer after I get home from work.

 

Also, FDM is the only person to not make a game related post today, however, as she is on a LOA due to her internet not working, she will not be modkilled.

Your sitting back, lounging with the drink you just got when you see Winter Mist stand up. Walking towards Jelly, who is sitting beside The Dude she pulls out a revolver and aims it at Jelly. The Dude doesn't hesitate. He leaps at Winter Mist as the Revolver goes off, and drops to the ground, with very little left to call a head. But in that same moment somebody else moves, you don't quite catch who, nor do you see anything more than a blur, but almost as quickly as the gun fires Winter Mist drops it and starts clutching at her throat, a dagger sitting hilt deep within it. She falls down on top of The Dude, as dead as he is.

 

Shaking your head, you suck back your latest drink, and stagger towards the bar for another one, ignoring Jelly as she looks up, holding a bible in one hand and the revolver in another. You only bump into two tables as you land against the edge of the bar. You only care about your next drink now.

 

The Dude, the healer, and Winter Mist, Mafia are dead. It is now day 3. With 7 alive, it takes 4 to lynch. Day 3 ends Wednesday night at some point, depending on when I get around to it. Not before 8pm EST though, just to give you a starting number.

Absolutely-positively lynch the mafia. And especially Nae, as she is definitely an experienced player and knew enough to go after The Dude instead of taking a pot shot at the finder.

 

And, while we are lynching, make sure to post speculation and reasoning as to who the the last mafia is. The thread is locked at night, and we won't get a chance to reason through any of this until another one of us is dead.

 

I'm going to do a quick review before I post, but I can shed a little light on part of the mystery: I killed Winter last night. I have a one shot assassin role and I was going to embed my plans into a post, but the thread was locked :P

The bottom four names are who we have to choose from for our last mafia.

 

Barm said that this game was experimental, and yet it all seems so normal. Dare I say, normal to the point of familiar? I believe that Barms is toying around with formulas for roles based on peoples expectations. I think he is doing this in preparation of the Civil War game to throw everyone in that game off.

 

Each of the roles has either been a cliche' (me as an assassin, Dude as a healer) or the illusion of a cliche' (Blig as an innocnet who comes across as an evil, Vemy as an innocent). It's not exactly science and it is definitely metagaming, but that's the impression I am getting, for what it's worth.

 

So that leaves us with the four: I'm listing them in order of most innocnet to most likely to be mafia. We'll see how I do.  :P

 

FDM - Could be evil, but FDM is a skilled player and she get's taken out early in many games. I just can't believe that she would stay so quiet and hide behind an internet connection issue.

Loki - Has not been as active on this thread as others, but does not really seem to be working a plan either. Could be evil, but I'm thinking not.

Dae - Fishy. He's been off balance in this game. Could be scum. Or, could just be off balance.

Luthine - Has been playing right along without raising too much suspicion. I really like the possibility of a Winter/Nae/Luthine evil trio, mostly because the evils have played such a smooth game. No hotheads, grandstanding, or wild flourishes. Just smart killing. 

 

Everybody should post their thoughts on this as well, and we'll put it all together into a profile. Hurry, before the thread is locked!
