Ken went home last night to find the internet cut off. He was not able to get on to take care of the game. I am hoping he will be around tonight to check in. Please play on as normal...he will be back.

Ok guys, short of a story once again but bcx got in contact with me and things got sorted out

 

 

Leelou a roleless innocent is dead

 

Daetirion a mafia member is dead

 

it is now day with 5 people left, 3 is a majority lynch

We seem to have another hidden killing role that has managed to remain relatively well hidden. Not that that would be hard, with the arsonist stuff going on all game...

 

So, Dae was evil. Not really surprising. The game isn't over yet, that is surprising. But then, with 2 kills, this suggests a few things:

 

1. There are multiple mafia teams - I see this one as being rather unlikely, but its possible.

2. There is an assassin - This means more mafia. A scary scary thought.

3. There is a Vigilante - This I see as being the most likely option. A player who wins on their own and has to be killed for the innocents to win. Or something along those lines.

 

So there's 5 of us left:

I don't know how much leeway we've got here, but I suspect we can screw up today, and still be able to lynch whomever tomorrow. However, I'd rather not run the risk, so lets be very careful about who we kill today.

Ok, so thus far here's what I've got:

 

Talya - She plays an incredibly good evil game when she is mafia, but I'm not getting anything from her this time around. She's been actively involved in killing the serial killer as well as mafia. So its my belief that she is innocent.

Jelly - Jelly doesn't ring any bells, she's been lying low and going with the lynch every time. She could be mafia, as this is a good way to slide through the game. I don't really have anything on her except for the lack of anything.

Korin - He keeps defending himself with his new player thing, as was pointed out in the last game day. He's also spammed the game a fair bit. Nothing really strong against him, except that he keeps using the same fallback.

Verbal - been quiet, relatively inactive. Don't get any vibes from him. Don't have anything solid on him either.

 

So right now I'm thinking our most viable candidates are Jelly or Korin. What do you think?

We should have time as there should be only one mafia left by my reckoning.And I think a vigilante is the most common situation. They may or maynot have a solo win.

 

Not sure about Jelly, she plays like this is any game evil or innocent. Korin has used the I'm a newbie too often. if this is his third game then ohe should be familar with it by now, but has made no useful contribution, similare to Verb,. As for Barm a little quiet to begin with, but so have we all at times.

The only thing that rules out any of the people that voted mafia is the assassin one. Verb could just be doing his night actions to keep us from suspecting him so he can freely kill others. I'm at a standstill on what to think though.

 

All of the games have been played at once and I've lost the other two. But I understand what you mean though.

I'm here.  I posted a LOA on Thursday, stating I was away for Friday & the weekend, and back on Monday morning.  :)

 

And I'm happy to say:  I was right about Dae!  I've been voting for him for about the last 3 game days.  Finally.

 

Barms, in response, I'd say my voting pattern suggests that I am innocent, which I am.  I really don't have anything else.  I don't think it's Jelly, but I agree that Korin is a bit suspicious.  Especially since after all his "newbie" excuses he tosses out, he comes back with this:

Where was that sort of thinking all game long?  I'm still developing my own style, and for now I've been holding back a bit.  In the Abolitionist game I've starting "coming out of my shell" a bit more, but I'm still working on it.  Korin might be doing the same thing, or he might be hiding something.

 

That's all I've got.  I'm back now 100%, so let's figure this out.

I would say we have one serial killer out there and one mafia left, so by all accounts we should have an extra day, though that would depend on whether the serial killer has a solo win or not. I still thinkk Korin looks the most guilty for either at the moment, though Verb did think Dae was evil. But he has been LOA, but it doesn't mean he didn't get his kill in before he went LOA.

 

I'm going to kick myself if it's Jelly, she just doesn't seem evil, so I'm hoping she isn't.

We've probably gotten all the mafia, unless Talya is right and there is 1 more, so there is likely 1 more role out there - either another serial killer or an assassin/vigilante.  Not sure the difference between the 2, but whatever.

 

I'm torn between Korin and either Talya or Barm.  Reasons for Korin are already stated, and I think that one of the others (Talya or Barm) are not on the level.  Who? - I have no clue.  :-\

 

So, with 5 alive, it takes 3 to lynch.  Here's the current status, I think:

 

Korin (2) - Talya, Jelly

 

Regardless of how many evils/bad roles left, I think Talya is right - we can miss one more time, but then we need to be correct.  I'm iffy a bit here on Korin, but I'll be the hammer if I don't hear what Barms has to say by this afternoon....

Arsonist 2- Moggy (to be activated upon the death of the arsonist. i was correct that more would have become arsonists with her death)

Healer- Soybomb, me (the firefighter was cued to be given the option to become the healer should the healer die. this would make the arsonist a regular serial killer, but once dead would stay dead)

firefighter- Me (To be activated only after the first arsonist had died)

Finder- Nephy

ok, the above is a post as me helping mod the game, which is why i left this out as its a post as a player.

 

On a side note though: This did *NOT* influence me not wanting to end the game earlier...i want to make that clear since people have been making comments about me that i find rather rude recently and wanted to address that first.

 

 

this game was to heavily sided towards the mafia, we shouldn't have 6 to 7 mafia (i really don't remember which it was) and a serial killer role *that doesn't stay dead* in an 18 player game.

 

i asked bcx and he confirmed that should i have not opted to become a healer to save nephy that if moggy had died another would have risen in her place, just like she did with lorei.

 

thats 1.5 night kills a night (since the arsonist had only 50% chance) in a game where about half the players were evil...
