I failed horribly at my post restriction, I had to quote movie lines, but forgot to half of the time.

 

1. I protected Tayol on night one.

 

2. Why did I not reveal when TheMasterDude claimed healer?

 

Because

1. I thought it might be a ploy to draw me out, and I wasn't gonna fall for it.

2. On the off chance that he wasn't evil (I was pretty sure he was) it was a good ploy to keep the evils off of my trail. Better if they go after the wrong guy than the right one.

3. 2 healer claims are impossible to prove. You cannot prove a healer claim without lynching the other healer claim, and you Never. Ever. Lynch a healer claim unless you have no other options.

Why didn't you reveal Tharengore? If we'd lynched the person you had targeted after you claimed the Finder role, I guarantee you that you would have been protected every single night for the rest of the game, so long as I lived.

Oh cause I was having fun with the insane part..and in a way that protected me cause people were thinking im evil or some such..basically anything but the AS, and thus to the murderes complety harmless haha...

Come Daybreak I was actually gonna ask you about the finder thing, but alas, that never happened.

yea I was waiting for day break as well...didnt do anything at night cause I already knew who was the murder...hehe..

I knew Tharen was the AS, he fingered everybody correctly and was trying to be subtle using the insanity plea.

 

I kept changing my vote to throw people off when it was Demi v TMD. I knew TMD wasn't the Ashie because we tried to kill Tayol on night 1 and he was protected.  Since he claimed to protect Tharen, we knew he was lying. 

 

After he fingered me, I couldn't kill Tharen since it would be revealed he was the AS and I would be toast.  I wasn't going to kill Barmy either since he fingered me as well.  That's honestly why I went after Tayol again.  I'm not sure if I like the russian roullette type role. It kind of tips the scale more towards luck than wits. I know there's always going to be some luck involved, no one knows who to vote for on the first night, but I found this to be a little too much luck.

 

I have to admit, when Gerr said the game was over, I thought the murderer's won because I read of versions where there was a dedicated mayor, and if the mayor was killed, the civilians lose.  Like I said, it would have been real nice to know what roles were in play before the game started, especially for people who were new to the genre.

Ah, I re-read your intro, I guess I missed the wilder part the first time, my apologies.

 

I also re-read the first couple of pages.  TMD claimed to be the healer and that he saved Tharen.  Gerr specifically said the healer did not take any actions that night.  This was proof he was lying and nobody caught it, lol.

Eclipse, weren't you the one who'd never played this before? Because you did pretty damn good for a first timer, you should consider Organized Games, or Wes's new game in the Illuminator's.

Thanks Barmy, I didn't think I was doing well since you and TMD both suspected me.  I did do alot of reading on the game though. I was home sick with Bronchitis all last week, so I didn't have much else to do, lol.

I'm usually good at pointing out who the killers are...I just screwed up and said I was the ashie the second day to see if I could get away with it and I knew that the killers would know I wasn't the ashie. Unfortunatly the real ashie didn't save me.....I was kind of hoping that they would since I threw myself out there as bait... >:(

Unless the real ashie thought you were a murderer trying to save his own arse, so why bother protecting you?
