The Kin in the Wheel of Time series are probably my favorite group of people excluding main characters of course. After looking of the organisation list I knew the organisation I wanted to join was the Kin.

Married,kids, four legged kids..any outstanding talents?  Hobbies....anything we should know about you?

 

LOL  My name is Twinnie and I've been in the Kin almost two years!!  I love this place and all my Kinster family!!  they are a great group of people..crazy..but lovable!!

 

I'm married, one of the old folks around the boards, have two adorable four legged kids..Sven and Svart..tend to mention them often..black labs...Sven is almost 4 and huge!!  Actually a miniture bull at 120 pounds!!  Svarta is my protector, 12 years old and also big..but more in the elegant, lanky way..*giggles*  I'm an avid crocheter and crafter...ummm from Colorado but live in Oklahoma these days!!

Thank you everyone for the warm welcome. Yes I am extremely new to DM, like a few days. Knitting needles will only be used for poking because I have no idea how to use them any other way lol.A bit about myself. I'm 18 from Ontario, Canada. I've only been reading the wheel of Time series for about two years, but immediately loved it. I can't sew knit crochet(sp?) or anything like that, but I love art and have taken classes throughout highschool(Ive graduated) and I guess Im not terrible at it lol. My family has two cats Cleo and Whiskers and they are my babies. There is no boyfriend right now because Im concentrating on school and friends plus a really bad date puts you off dating for awhile. I am completely insane like the rest of my family and have recently become a complete cluts  *sigh the Johnson cluts gene caught up with me ( that is how u spell cluts right?)

oh boy...clutz!!  I'm giggling cause i am a terrible speller...Tay usually has to interpret twinnese!  and the only reason I know the word is cause I am one!!  Just don't go hurting yourself!!!

 

We have another Kinster in Canada..Tigara!  Off hand, no idea where in canada though!  You may want to check out the Illuminators Org hon!  They have different Chapter Houses..for Writers, Crafters, Graphic Arts and Artists!!  It is a great place to share ideas and your work and learn and share with others!!  You'll notice quite a few of the Kin running around thier halls!!

 

So you are in college then?  Are you studying art?

I'm not in college yet, im in the middle of appyling for it and i still have no idea what i want to be  :-[. As for being a cluts its has gone past hurting myself. My mom insists that her flower pot(which is the reason i will have no toes) stays beside the computer chair because it was there first ::). Im sry but u r seriously underestimating just how bad this date was. I had to call my mom to come get me from the movie theatre bathroom needless to say my friends all had a good laugh about it :D. I will definately check out the Illuminator org, it sounds like a great place.

Oh man..that had to have been pretty darn bad!!  Still....they arn't all that way..maybe this was your "one bad apple"  and the rest will be amazing...ok well at least fun and interesting!  LOL!

Is it nice over there weather wise right now? Its been snowing a bit in ontario not enough for a snow day though :'(

I think it is ok. We usually don't get much Snow..a lot of rain but little snow. I'm in Idaho right now and we are getting a lot of Wind. BURRRRR!!!!

I prefer ranin to snow, but that wind doesnt sound very nice

I prefer snow if it's going to be cold. I prefer it to not be cold and give me a good thunderstorm more, though. *grins* If it's going to be cold and moist, it can at least make it worth my while to deal with it. Not like the last few days with it being in the low 40's and raining all day. MISERABLE CRAP! lol, just ask Mo when you see her. She swears the year she was in Georgia for my birthday was more cold than she'd had in the snow in the High Desert of California in a LONG time. *grins* Folks underestimate how freakin' cold it can be here, I tell ya!
