Continuing with this train of thought.... it could be a straight to DVD release... which means shoddy sequel... maybe.  I hate to burn a question without giving it some thought.

Look for straight to VHS considering the time frame.

That said, it doesn't answer the genre question.

Hard to be a DVD in 1970

If it was 1975 your looking at a beta max. 76 was VHS.

I have no idea what they had prior to that for 'home use' aside from personal projectors....

I forget how old this movie is sometimes.  Probably not a live action family move as I do not believe they were going on back then.  Maybe a more appropriate question to ask for 19 would be... would the general us public have HEARD of this movie... as I am betting it was released in the US.

The Five Man Army  1969 - That is if you count as Peter Graves being well known.

The Price of Power  1969 - Nope... has Box Office

Django and Sartana Are Coming....It's the End  1970

Return of Sabata  1971 - box office

Go Away! Trinity Has Arrived in Eldorado  1972

I am not feeling any of these really.  I was thinking it would be something a little more well know... like the Good, bad or ugly or once upon a time in the west or something.  Something with Clint Eastwood.

So I am going to ask....

Q20:  Is the movie of the Western Genre?

If so, we know it is a spagetti western and I think with the hints we have we can make an educated guess for 21.

I have learned much more than I ever needed about Italian Cinema.  My guess is this film is of the Crime genre now.  However, I can not find one that is Crime only and not mixed with other genres we have excluded.

So since I am tired and just want to know the answer, I will make an educated, yet wrong guess.

Is the movie Morte risale a ieri sera, La?

Nope, then what is it?
