It's time once more to create the Kin's Ultimate Christmas CD!!!  Last year our Elegant Eldest collected 24 of the Kin Member's favorite holiday songs..then burned them into a CD, sending them out to everyone who contributed to it!

Last year's CD included:

A Holly Jolly Christmas; Christmas Time; Deck the Halls; Sleigh Ride; Adult 12 Days of Christmas; God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen; Winter Wonderland; White Christmas; Go Tell It on the Mountain; Peace on Earth/Little Drummer Boy; Pavarati; Elvis; Grandma Got Ran Over by a Reindeer; Christmas Time; The Twelve Days of Christmas; Feliz Navidad; I'll Be Home for Christmas; Christmas in Kilarney; Things I Want; Santa Baby; Clark Griswald's Christmas Wish; Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas; Winter Wonderland; and Title.

Ok..so I'm going to attempt to make them this year..but may be hollering for help!! LOL!  Be prepared!

Post your favorite songs here..with a link so we can have a listen ..from youtube etc..then I think if you email the song to me or can send it to me over msn..I will have it in my library and can then create the playlist and burn the CD'S!!

HELP?  Lor how did you get everyone's song last year?  ::) ??? :-\

LOL anyway..post your Holiday favorites here!  They can be repeats from last year..new things you've found or old favorites!!!

*bounces and waits to hear something*

It may be hard to find, but one of my absolute favorites is "I Want A Hippopotamus For Christmas.

I'll try to track it down... and post it back up here.

okay, I found the Kathy Mattea and the Destiny's Child.

Tay, the closest I found for yours on itunes was by the Cambridge King's College Choir. There's a sample here: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Noel-Christmas-Kings-College-Carols/dp/samples/B00000427N/ref=dp_tracks_all_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1196995305&sr=1-1#disc_1

I don't have any of Kelly's requests, though.

Haven't bought yet.

But was planning to make cd in itunes, so would need songs to be in itunes. don't know if itunes will include songs that come from MSN. We have a PC and run much MS product on it, but have avoided MSN stuff for the most part. Looking into setting up MSN account, just to see what happens.

I'll get back to you when it's up and running. ;)

And hey if no one adds anything else, well it just leave more room for all my crazy favorites!  ;D

Hey all you Kinsters! Come list some songs!

I got them from MSN and e-mail, unless I already had them, Twinny. Just let me know what you need and stuff.

As for me... Santa Baby is still my favorite, but I like Alabama's Thistle Hair the Christmas Bear, too. I grew up on that one! :D I have that album, if you want me to send you the tunes, fae!

lol I needed music so much last year that I didn't care how many songs people sent me. I even added about 5 for myself, just to make the CD worth making!

So, c'mon, folks! Let's get this thing rolling! How do you want these, fae??

Well, for starters, tell me what they are here. Song title and artist. That way if I have it, I can just add it to the list.

Otherwise, I just need a quicky explanation of how to get them through MSN, and I will gladly take them that way.

I'll make a list of suggestions so far so people can see what's already on the list.

Ok, here's the list, so far. I think I want to put a deadline of this friday on it, just so I have time to make the CDs and send them to everyone in time to enjoy them for the Holidays.

But Twinnie and Lor are right, we're only half way there, and Christmas songs tend to be shorter than average, so we may need even more than 20 to fill it up. Send more songs folks!

1.I Want A Hippopotamus For Christmas - Gayla Peevy

2.Blue Christmas - Elvis

3.Baby It's Cold Outside - Brian Setzer and Ann-Margrett

4.Christmas (Baby, Please Come Home) - U2

5.Peace on Earth/Little Drummer Boy - Bing & Bowie

6.O Come!  O Come! Emmanuel! - Kathy Mattea

7.O Little Town of Bethlehem - Cambridge King's College Choir

8.Do You Hear What I Hear? - Destiny's Child

9.Thistle Hair the Christmas Bear - Alabama

10.I Believe in Father Christmas - Emerson Lake & Palmer

11.Alfie the Christmas Tree - John Denver

Did I miss any?
