Guest TigerToe Posted April 27, 2006 Posted April 27, 2006 How many people here are still surfing in the 90's?
fader6818 Posted April 27, 2006 Posted April 27, 2006 I currently am fairly angry that FiOS is not an option in my new home. Tiger, perhaps you should add Fiber to that list. I know of only one persona for SURE who can answer yet to it, but... I'm on DSL.
Community Administrator SinisterDeath Posted April 27, 2006 Community Administrator Posted April 27, 2006 Cable.. I'd perfer dsl *stays up longer* also, becuase my internet company sucks, and I have to use a router, making it suck even more. *That and If I need to download wow patches, which use bittorrent, I can't..* Also, I'd love to get my hands on that fiber internet stuffs! :P
Guest Majsju Posted April 27, 2006 Posted April 27, 2006 Ah, the lovely high speed broadband :D Been thinking about going wireless, but I also need a laptop, so that'll have to wait.
Kadere Posted April 27, 2006 Posted April 27, 2006 I have really crappy wireless in my dorm room, but it works.... sometimes.
alCal Posted April 27, 2006 Posted April 27, 2006 DSL. 8 mbps 8) Works fine, but I want 100 mbps...^^
Kadere Posted April 27, 2006 Posted April 27, 2006 yeah, mine shoots from 54 to 48 to 36 to 18 to 11 to 5.5 to 2 to 1 back up to 18 to 11 to 5.5 to 2 to 1, then it will shut off, the it will go back to 54 to 48...
Moderator JenniferL Posted April 27, 2006 Moderator Posted April 27, 2006 I'm not telling you. Only a hacker would want to know that. Are you planning to hack all our computers? The Admins will ban you!
goldeneys Posted April 27, 2006 Posted April 27, 2006 hehehe I put wireless, but I really have cable
Corki Posted April 27, 2006 Posted April 27, 2006 It depends where I am. If I am back home with my parents, I am stuck in the 90s with slooooooooooooooooooow dial up, but if I am in my room at my University Halls of Residence, I have nice and fast broadband. I haven't voted as I fall into two categories, which I use equally.
Jhaenara Posted April 27, 2006 Posted April 27, 2006 Cable... and ours seems pretty good here and very rarely is down/disconnects. I had that Sprint dish/microwave thing in CO and it sucked arse if you gamed. It was fast, but disconnected all the time. Our DSL is Germany was allright, but seemed to go down every night.

Moderator JenniferL Posted April 27, 2006 Moderator Posted April 27, 2006 I'm not going to be lured by your phishing. Once you know my connection, you can use that information to hack my puter!!!! I can't believe an admin hasn't locked this thread yet.
Guest Majsju Posted April 27, 2006 Posted April 27, 2006 That's probably because all admins are drunk! And naked! And torturing bunnyrabbits!
Moderator JenniferL Posted April 27, 2006 Moderator Posted April 27, 2006 Don't tell Segurant. He'll cry.
Guest Majsju Posted April 27, 2006 Posted April 27, 2006 Oh, I'm sure one of the admins can give him something to really cry about. like a good ol' spanking or so
Moderator JenniferL Posted April 28, 2006 Moderator Posted April 28, 2006 Naw, I hear that wife of his is a stuffy old lady.
Guest Majsju Posted April 28, 2006 Posted April 28, 2006 I hear that she's easily distracted if you give her shinies to play with.
