Emperor Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 Seems that LucasFilm, Ltd. has registered six titles with the MPAA, each of which could be the title of the next film. The MPAA fields protests from other studios about film titles, but, once they're though the MPAA, they can all be used legally.
Cadsuane Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 I could go for 1, 3, or last. I don't really like the others. I guess I'll put a vote in for City of Gods. BUT, I think the last one is most Indian Jones-ish.
Majsju Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 I go with #1, none of the other feels quite right to me.
Kivam Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 Were "Indiana Jones and the Walker of Danger" and "Indiana Jones and the Cane of Gout" taken?
Cadsuane Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 Those were early suggestions, but they were replaced with Indiana Jones and the Bulb of Good Lighting and Indiana Jones and the Miracle of Modern Makeup.
Majsju Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 In the end, I still hope for Indiana Jones and the Can of Worms.
Majsju Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 On the contrary, but what's the point of loving someone or something if you can't mock the hell out of them every now and then? ;D
Ozhammer Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 Indiana Jones and the Quest for the Porcelain Hip Indiana Jones and the Enlarged Prostrate Sceptre Seriously, I would go for the last (covenent) one. I think it would tie in well with Raiders.
Lilliandra Posted September 10, 2007 Posted September 10, 2007 Umm naff title alert. I was reading in Empire and Karen Allen is back as Marion Ravenwood and Shia LeBeouf is playing her son (hmmm who's the Daddy?) and Ray Winstone is going to be Indy's sidekick. There was also a teaser poster showing the crate containing the Ark from the end of the original film.
Cadsuane Posted September 10, 2007 Posted September 10, 2007 That was the WORST title on the list. >:(
The Outsider Posted September 10, 2007 Posted September 10, 2007 It would make a good He-Man subtitle though... Anyway, there is already a film called City of God (that's the title in English anyway) so I would have thought that would have made that title unlikely to begin with.
Haxorsist Posted September 10, 2007 Posted September 10, 2007 Yeah, it's a good thing they kept away from that title. City of God is an awesome movie.
Cadsuane Posted September 10, 2007 Posted September 10, 2007 Yeh, City of God was very good. *nods* But crystal skulls?!?! SO CHEESY. Well, cheesier than Indiana should be. :P
Ozhammer Posted September 11, 2007 Posted September 11, 2007 I agree. Sounds like one of Hitchcocks old "Three Investigator" books. Indy should be feeling the pinch on his aging ticker though. Maybe Indiana Jones and the Mio-cardial Infarction??? And another thing thats vexing me. If in the Last Crusade both Jones' drank from the Grail, shouldnt they have a greater shelf life than normal blokes? Maybe thats why they Indy is so "well preserved" (assuming we ignore the crotchety old man from Indy Chronicles).
The Outsider Posted September 11, 2007 Posted September 11, 2007 I agree. Sounds like one of Hitchcocks old "Three Investigator" books. *off topic* I loved those books when I was kid! They were awasome. I used to borrow them from the library all the time. ;D (and yes, it would have made a great title for one of them.)
