Talya, considering how many people her are on their second or 3rd game why don't we just let experienced players take the remaining 2 spots if no new players show up?

 

Dsage & cloud have both played real games

 

leelou, Amethea, & Naeann I'm more then competent are skilled enough for a real game (and I convinced them all to sign up for real games^^)

 

The only 2 I'd be even slightly worried might get left behind a bit are Dark Justice sine i haven't seen him play more then the once and Kryos whose playing for the first time.

welcome to the organised games Xefan,

 

The mafia game. Put simply is a detective game of sorts.

 

There are a number of players, a small number will be mafia (evils, werewolves...whatever), there is usually a finder and a healer.

 

During the day scene (can last more than one of our days), all the players have to lynch someone they believe to be an evil, the persone with the majourity votes gets lynched.

 

During the night scene, The finder asked to see the alignment of one person, the healer chooses to save one person, and the evil team ask to kill someone.

 

if the healer and evil choose the same one then no nightkill will happen.

 

The innocents win if they lynch all the evils, the evils win when their number equals or is more than the innocents.

I will get this up and running sunday evening my time (uk) and will pm you to tell you it has started and whether or not you have a role. I will be putting times on the days though...not having them dragged out over days and days...lol

This is the rules/guide thing Vemy gave me in my first game and it helped me undertand it a little bettter...

 

Also the rules I'll sum up what I remember

 

When voting for someone (to lynch or for any other action) make the word Glow

or it doesn't count.

 

this game started off with 12 people, likely there are 3 murders. There are 8 people left and supposedly 2 murders left.

 

If the murders get it down to 4 players (2 murder/2 good guys) the murders win.

 

If we kill the murders then we win.

 

During the Day players glow

the name of the person that they want to lynch because they think he/she is a murder.

 

During the night the murder's pm barm with someone they want to kill during the night.

 

We also have 2 special good guy players. A Finder and a Protector.

 

A Finder may ask Barm one question a night, usually whether the person is good or evil. This person then should try to influence votes away from player he knows to be innocent without seeming to obvious because he could be night killed.

 

A Protector can send in the name of a player in to Barm during the night, if that player is chosen by the murders for a night kill then he/she is safe and not killed. The Protector usually is incharge of finding the identity of the Finder so that he can protect that person during the night. Or if he sees a pattern to the murders plans to protect the person he thinks is next. Or even to protect himself to make sure he stays in the game.

 

Also nae, people have a tendency to bandwagon, or vote for people who have already got vote on them. To give you a sporting chance even though I think your evil, you should place your votes onto other people who already have votes, such as jackdaw (yes guys i know I'm helping the murder, but this *IS* a game for learning at its heart and Nae's no got a clue here)

 

Really important! You can not communicate with anyone outside of this thread about the game unless you are a murder speaking with each other murders

 

You also can't trust anyone for sure unless 1) You accidentally lynched the finder and 2) before you accidentally lynched him he spilled the names of people he knew were innocent/evil (since he wasn't dead yet) This happened in the Seanchan game I played in >.>

 

So to make it simple you can't trust anyone
