Ive just been catching up after a #godawfulnightatwork. Probably should have been drinking, but whatevs.

 

Darthe is confirmed as the Mentalist based upon the OP showing the role removed. Mentalist was not a passing role so I think that also confirms him as town. Heavy having been the Apportioner basically confirms him as town for the same reason. I don't see a world where those non pass roles are given to mafia. Gud claimed she had the cop on N0, and her post about Christmas is her claiming to send that to Dice imo. Dice got it so that checks out. I think that clears Gudrean. Same for Ithi with the Doc, based on her own statements. Leelou had another non pass role that looks townie and it appears she's killed by mafia. Not certain but that is the most likely scenario imo. Dice ironically is not cleared because he only received roles from others, and exactly what happened last night is unclear. There is a busdriver and since I know I'm town (SD could well be mafia, i certainlyhave my suspicions) there exists a possibility of me being driven somewhere else.

So that gives us a good town core.

So we lunch from the bottom pool, and I think just by the numbers we win.  It probably has to be from me and SD today if just to show if Darthe got accurate results. I know I'm town, I don't know about SD, so that's where I'm going to start.

@DPR though just as a point of interest, if Dice for example had used an ability before dying, would that appear in the death report? If you are OK with saying of course, hypothetically, not confirming anything.

So feels like Dice is cleared too. Could be give to mafia but that seems too op, in hands of Town it might still backfire. 

 

So definitely scratch that implausible theory, lol. 

 

@Turin Turambar I cannot fault your logic, except you are overlooking the Symp. Confirmed town is all fine and good, but for example do you want to sacrifice yourself just on the say so of Darthe? Remember even if we eliminate SD, we get no flip, you are still sus if we believe Darthe and we kind of need to get rid of you both. 

 

I don't like it. 

 

It still seems to me that Darthe is the Symp, and that puts a lot of sus on Peace and Berf. The more I think about it the less likely I think Turin/SD contains a wolf, especially if we were right about Teph. I cannot make sense of Darthe's behaviour unless it is wolf-aligned. Does anyone have any explanation that could convince me? And so it seems highly unlikely he would actually bus a teammate when we won't even get flips. Far better to hoodwink everyone. 

 

This is all speculation, but it feels right in broadstrokes. I think eliminating Turin/SD could be a mistake.

Ed could be the Symp cos he killed Heavy.

Yup I think Darthe is Town. He's claimed an alignment checking role..and that role has now been removed.

 

Symp don't need to check alignment... they know who's on the Mafia Team but the Mafia team don't know who they are.

 

That's why Eddie could be the Symp cos he killed a claimed Town positive role and all he's said is sorry?

But if the Symp is randomly chosen would they not have a random town role? Otherwise you could tell the Symp from their role, that doesnt seem fair? Or is Symp a role that would preclude any other? 

 

Hmm, though it would have sucked if the cop role was given to the simp and they could pass it to the mafia. Maybe they aren't allowed to?

I think that like you he was given a non passing role. One which I think would not be given to a mafia player. It is pretty much confirmed that he is the Mentalist based on the role was removed, and no one cc'd him. Therefore, imo he is town. Now a symp is technically town, but I don't see that happening in this case. Mentalist was a 1x investigation.  I don't see that being put in a anti Town place. Possible,  not likely imo.

Not about what actually has happened but just if it would have been possible in the setup for the Symp to also have had such a role. I guess Symp could have an extra bonus role.... but I have always thought of it as being a role in itself. Maybe they got a weaker bonus role. Let me go look at the list

Hot Potato/Role Blocker is often negative so again I think we got Teph good.

 

Siren is pretty negative. Look at me and you die. Probs proper Mafia

 

Bus Driver messes with Town results. Probs proper Mafia.

Though someone gave Teph the Hot Potato and he had no other role. So in theory the Potato would be passed back and forth between the teams, though of course the mafia would never miss pass. 

 

Siren is nasty for town, be too towny you kill the Doc, too scummy you kill the Cop. Sucks to be Dice, lol.

because I had it first. the game wouldn't start with a mafia player holding the cop role. If I was mafia I would pass it along my mafia buddies, hopefully Dice passed it to a townie 🤷‍♂️

CCd means counter claimed. You seemed to be saying someone had also claimed cop, and as Dice was confirmed it almost looked like you were pointing out you had been caught in a lie. Which would have odd, lol, hence why we're asking what you meant. Glad to know your still unCC'd 🙂

I think there is a great possible of this. Not sure you would put it out there if it was you so leaning more on Darthe but the mafia thing to do is be too obvious to be, right? Need more to decide. Still catching up, will return to this after I'm done reading.
