* I haven’t proclaimed “everyone should blindly trust a role claim” - I posted reasoning on why he shouldn't be trusted as town because of his claim, and his claim is not alignment indicative. You first laughed at it and said it was a joke, and now you're switching and saying that my post was so obvious that it's unnecessary?

Fair, appreciate the gentle clarification. I probably need to refine my approach in mafia.

 

Why would Dice need a plan here? What is he losing, as a mafia that's about to die, by claiming cop and saving himself? And isn't he gaining potentially outing the cop, saving his own skin, and voting out another townie?

These games end quick. It's not the 24 players we had back in the day. They are mostly over by day 4 ish

 

But I'm not getting dragged into your round and round. I think Dice is probably Town.

Wait I'm confused, that's what he gains by claiming cop right? And he doesn't lose anything right? So do you agree that Dice's claim has no indication to his alignment, since mafia would do the exact same thing?

 

Fair point on the game ending quickly, but that means even more incentive for mafia to fake claim right?

 

Also, don't want to drag you into my round and round with DPR, but this is a fair question to ask on your biggest town read, who I think, while acknowledging that I won't vote him without a cc, is one of my scummiest players, and was a big factor in our d1 town vote-off?

I get it, but the whole point of sussing somebody and making as case is to get people to vote with you - i.e. control how they play the game.
