I'm willing to play if you'll let me.

But if someone posts after me wanting to play and hasn't had a chance to play before I will understand (and would agree with) not getting to play.

Also, pm Dsage, Cleo, and Safir. I know Cleo just said she's only played 2 before (the double blind and this current) and Dsage is along those lines as well. + I think Safir will have more fun this second time.

I'm also gonna pm Nae about trying this one and see if she can get Min, Del, and Loran into this.

Posted

Yup I'm in.... Min won't play... she tried to read wild wild west and got confused.  I'll ask Del and Zarine.  Loran is on LOA.

Posted

Well the games are confusing to outsiders.

All you have to know to start are: if the murderer's equal civies evil wins. If Innocents kill all murderers civies win. You lynch someone each day and murderer's kill someone each night.

Posted

yeah, i've pmed what? lets count:

Safir

Dsage

Nae

Min

Del

Loran

Dorrin

Zarine

is that all? hmm I might have to go annoy some others into joining XD

Posted

1. Amethea

2. Leelou

3. Vemynal

4. Naeann

5. DSage

6. Safir

7. Boyo

8. Maud

Vemy, if you could get those you asked to come here to say they are in, that would be really great. I don't want to include someone without their express permission.

Thanks.

Toy, Do I now count you as experienced? Or should I call Vemy that? Anyhow, our experienced players slots are filled.

Posted

Okay, Vemy and Naeann talked me into it. I'll play. I won't have time till Thursday to try and read over all the rules though. Where is that link anyway?

Remember Vemy you have to explain things 20 times to me so I understand. It is in the TTT Creed. *giggle*

I don't think Toy counts as experienced since he's only play like 2 games before.

And Alys, if those people I pmed don't post then don't worry about it. Turns out Loran is LoA.

Hopefully Zarine and Del check the game out, it would be fun I think for our TTT creww to learn together XD. But if they don't is not the end of the world.

Worst case scenario we could always play a 16 man game instead of a 12 man game

And grats on joining Min! I'm happy you get too play^^

edit-here Min, I said this on the first page, the the below is to confusing then just retain this, the rest will come with time while playing and make more sense.

"Well the games are confusing to outsiders.

Slightly more complicated, I posted this in the wild wild west game:

"heh, sorry Naeann. But you replaced Calyn who some of us believe to be evil.

Also the rules I'll sum up what I remember

When voting for someone (to lynch or for any other action) make the word [glow=red,2,300]Glow[/glow] or it doesn't count.

this game started off with 12 people, likely there are 3 murders. There are 8 people left and supposedly 2 murders left.

If the murders get it down to 4 players (2 murder/2 good guys) the murders win.

If we kill the murders then we win.

During the Day players [glow=red,2,300]glow[/glow] the name of the person that they want to lynch because they think he/she is a murder.

During the night the murder's pm barm with someone they want to kill during the night.

We also have 2 special good guy players. A Finder and a Protector.

A Finder may ask Barm one question a night, usually whether the person is good or evil. This person then should try to influence votes away from player he knows to be innocent without seeming to obvious because he could be night killed.

A Protector can send in the name of a player in to Barm during the night, if that player is chosen by the murders for a night kill then he/she is safe and not killed. The Protector usually is incharge of finding the identity of the Finder so that he can protect that person during the night. Or if he sees a pattern to the murders plans to protect the person he thinks is next. Or even to protect himself to make sure he stays in the game.

Also nae, people have a tendency to bandwagon, or vote for people who have already got vote on them. To give you a sporting chance even though I think your evil, you should place your votes onto other people who already have votes, such as jackdaw (yes guys i know I'm helping the murder, but this *IS* a game for learning at its heart and Nae's no got a clue here)

Really important! You can not communicate with anyone outside of this thread about the game unless you are a murder speaking with each other murders

You also can't trust anyone for sure unless 1) You accidentally lynched the finder and 2) before you accidentally lynched him he spilled the names of people he knew were innocent/evil (since he wasn't dead yet) This happened in the Seanchan game I played in >.>

So to make it simple you can't trust anyone

Even me

Now welcome to the Fiddles Murder Game!

edit- and assuming we don't lynch you for some stupid reason, you might want to consider re-reading this game. Its full of handy tips by Sboyd and Talya our experienced players (keep in midn Talya was a murder so some things may be twisted in their advice)

in any event it couldn't hurt you if you decided to play another game and used the stuff shown in this game to help you in that game.

T help you for your re-read:

[glow=green,2,300]Amethea[/glow], [glow=green,2,300]Toy[/glow], and [glow=green,2,300]Dorrin[/glow] were good (notice the green glow)

[glow=red,2,300]

Talya[/glow] was a murder (notice the red glow)

[glow=purple,2,300]Purple is Unknown role[/glow]

And [glow=blue,2,300]Blue [/glow]is for the special rolls Finder and Protector

[glow=yellow,2,300]Yellow[/glow] I've seen for the special murderer roles. None of which are in this game."

quick run through? you have two teams and you want your team to win, by killing all evils or by evils equaling or outnumbering all innocents. there are experienced players to help give out advice. They need to give out as much advice as possible

There are three types of roles. One is an evil role. The number of evil players will depend on the number of sign ups. one is an angel/healer. They choose a player to heal at night. The player they choose cannot be night killed. THe last is a finder. They view people over night to try to find as many player alignments as they can.

All of this happens in day/night cycles. Only evils are allowed to communicate outside of the game thread.

Pretty simple? Any other questions can be directed at the mod in order to not leave players in the dark and/or reveal roles.

It depends what you define as experience.  I played the Filalia Pirate game, where I was the village idiot, but didn't play much, made like four posts total the entire game.

I played the Double Blind where I was Ishamael, a Finder.  I lasted about halfway through the game.

I played the Wild West where I was night killed Night 1.

I played the Suras Hunt where I was Lynched Day 1.

Make your own decision on my experience.

:( all the experienced players are gone...*sighs*...well I could always mod the next one...won't get night killed ot lynched then ;D

Posted

Well I donno, do  count as an experienced player? I mean i certainly have more then say Min, but I have no where near what Sboyd has as I understand it.

Posted

Vem does count as an experienced player. He has enough games under his belt.

I'd also say that Vem is an exceptional player, and will do exceedingly well in future games. Give sira a run for her money.

Dsage is an exceptional case, and I'd give him an extra game due to his luck with past games. Truth be told, I made him innocent in wild wild west because he had only had roles in previous games. I felt he needed the chance to play the game as a roleless innocent... not that it lasted or anything.

Sign up on the mod list now Talya if you want the next game. I'll put you on there right away so to ensure that you get the next spot.
