Just don't let your dead players participate. The point of killing them is to silence them, which is no good if they can keep talking on the public thread.

silencing is just half, them not having a vote that help the best .. and noteveryone reads the public thread and there not always right, they can confuse the issue more

In a themed mafia, public threads are fine. Just, as Barmy says, you need to define who may post there. You might also wish to restrict what people may post.

Because of the long line of people waiting to mod a Themed game, I would like to sign up for another one after Lia.  I already got a theme and I think it will be awesome. 

 

I'd switch games, but this upcoming one I've been wanting to do for a while.

 

So if it's allowed, could you slap my name down under Lia for Themed?

Would like to get a standard game up after Jerans, Shouldn't be real themed, just a basic setup with a little story setup. Like I said, nothing to special.

 

I've played several games, got the roles and setups down pat, and really want some modding experience.

I got my theme for my mafia. Well, if I can gather enough crap for it. lol

It's going to be a mafia based on the music videos Radiator and Dance Or Die by a band called Family Force 5. I'll have to do a bit of work, including creating a whole group of villains from scratch :-\ But if I can't gather enough stuff, I'll just do a Thomas Covenant the Unbeliever mafia :)

Hey pandy - though I've modded my game before, could I pm you the set up with the roles and such and let me know if you think it needs to be changed for this group? Though, I don't know how many people I will have sign up and I can always add more roles as necessary.

Okay, MCS - added to the first post. Make sure that your mafia game can't be broken by a massclaim, in which the villains must claim to have the role of a known villain, which in turn gets them lynched.
