Sorry guys. I was out for a bit as my youngest sister was in town. I keep role slipping, so I am not posting much.  I haven't got a clue who anyone is, though I suspect that it is possible that two people have two roles and either both people fit opposing roles quite well. I think it is too chancy to state who I am thinking about considering this.

Well, I woke up, and chose the back door. Let's see what happens. *crosses fingers*

I was given no backstory, other than to choose the front or back door, so nothing I got will help methinks.

And this game gets the award for people most unwilling to lynch other players. I imagine Sirayn would be tearing her hair out by now. :P

Sorry you had to go Vemy, I didn't think you were guilty. Luckily you will still get to participate, without the danger of a lynch. :)

Guess it's a waiting game now. I don't wanna die!!!!!!  :'(

     Everything feels like time has been suspended. More screams can be heard now, and a terrible roar that had to come from something huge. No one seems to know what to do, when Ennora speaks.

     “We would be better off on the water, but we’ll not escape that way now now. Our only hope is to move ahead and hope they have not had time to flank us. Follow me, quickly!” She turns to head away from the village when you hear something approaching from the trail you came from. Everybody spins around, blades whisk out of sheaths, and you brace for whatever.  Leaping over brush and into the midst of the group is Far. She must have woken up in time to save herself.

     “Far! What’s happe….?”

      She runs right through the group without even slowing down. “RUN!!!”

     And a much larger crash followed by a roar comes from the trail back towards the village.  You turn and half of he group is already running behind Far. Then things get a little out of control. You are dodging trees, leaping over vines and tearing through the jungle like your arse was on fire. You can’t tell where the others are exactly, just the general direction that they are headed in. You jump over a log in your path, catch the tip of a boot on a vine and face plant into the soft soil. You feel rather than see something massive sail over your back. You look up in time to see a creature the size of a bear land in a skidding halt and turn it’s head back towards you barring rows of dagger sharp teeth.  You are already pressing back up while the image of the creature sinks into you head: it is covered in short white fur and charcoal stripes cross its back at the shoulders. The fur goes to light gray where the legs meet the body to almost black at the paws. It looks like a cross between one of the giant bears or a wolf except for it’s mouth, which is more like a marine predator’s. It’s yellow eyes fix on you and a deep growl starts low in it’s throat. It rears back and is a split second away from leaping back at you. Then you hear an answering growl behind you.  You freeze, uncertain that there is actually anything that you can do at this point. Then both creatures raise their heads and look back down the trail. Four of the Hall guard are headed straight for you and they have not noticed the creatures yet. Both beasts slink down into a crouch and time slows to a heartbeat. You could shout to warn them….

* A PLAYER HAS BEEN GIVEN THE OPTION TO SHOUT AND WARN THE HALL GUARD, OR TO STAY QUIET AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS. *

    “Look out!” erupts from you before you even know it. The pirates immediately spring to either side of the trail, Sinta blades already drawn, and watch as the beast hurtles towards them. The first pirate rolls under the beast, thrusting up. The others dodge the beast and slice along it’s sides, opening up long and terrible wounds that turn it’s hide to scarlet. The best does not even slow, spinning back around and launching back into the middle of the pirates; claws blurring as all parties take damage. Shouts, screams, curses and growls rise from the melee that cannot be followed by the eye. You are lost in the amazing scene until your hear the low growl from behind you. You slowly turn around, and crouched like a spring-loaded trap is the first beast, your business together evidently unfinished. The chaos of the fight is almost enough to drown out the flat voice behind you, but not quite.

    “Turn around.”  You turn to see the Admiral; trident leveled at you heart and a wicked gleam in his eye.

    “Duck”. You hit the ground and once again feel the massive beast come over your back. This time the beast stops dead directly over you and you hear the sickening crunch of steel penetrate flesh and bone. Then the beast collapses on top of you. You are almost suffocated by the time the Admiral rolls the thing off of you and reaches down to help you up.

    You stand. The other beast lay dead with five Sinta blades sticking out of it. The four guards also lay dead, shredded beyond any possible healing.

    “Next time, don’t shout. We were coming to save you and you gave us away. It’s always better to have the jump on these things, eh? Now let’s get back to join the others.”

    You both take off at a trot and soon join up with the others. Everyone seems to be present, except one. Hax. Ennora addresses the group:

    “We are all back together, save for one. We must stay together as a group to survive and now we must make yet another choice.” She is out of breath, clearly taxed beyond her endurance. “Haxorsist took an opportunity to leave the group. I suppose he was thinking it might be better to split up, but he did not know what it was we faced. We have to decide whether it is worth going back to look for him and almost certainly doing battle with more of those beasts and their handlers, or to leave him for dead, which he most certainly will be if we do not go to his aid.

* HAX WAS GIVEN A RUSSIAN ROULETTE TO STAY WITH THE GROUP OR TO SEPARATE. HE CHOSE TO SEPARATE. ASA GROUP, YOU MUST VOTE TO [glow=red,2,300]GO FORWARD[/glow] AND LEAVE HIM TO DIE, WHICH HE WILL, OR [glow=red,2,300]GO BACK[/glow] AND SAVE HIM WHICH WILL INVOLVE MORE FIGHTING, MORE RUSSIAN ROULETTE ACTIONS AND POSSIBLEY MORE DEATHS. IF HE IS THE ASSASSIN AND IS NOT SAVED BY THE GROUP, BUT IS KILLED, THE CURSE WILL SPREAD. YOU MAY NOT VOTE FOR HIM UNLESS YOU SAVE HIM FIRST. YOU MAY VOTE FOR WHOMEVER ELSE YOU WISH. VOTING QUICKLY WILL LEAD TO NIGHT AND THERE WILL BE NO ACTIONS, RUSSIAN ROULETTE OR OTHER WISE THIS NIGHT. THREE VOTES WILL MAKE THE DECISION*

    Hax runs until his lungs burn like he has inhaled fire, but to no avail. Three of the strange beasts easily pace him and are content to wait until he falls to his knees, exhausted. He holds his sword out in front of him, but has no strength left to use it. Evidently, the beast behind him knows this and does not think twice about opening its maw, and biting down over Hax, easily lifting him and carrying him.  The beast that carries Hax trots back the way they came, back towards its master. The other two continue the hunt.

I'll count that as a [glow=red,2,300]GO BACK[/glow] vote unless told otherwise. Two more votes are needed to save Hax

rofl, not sure that Kathana will give me that club... here's to hoping.

And sorry, [glow=red,2,300]Go Back[/glow]

Current Action Vote Count:

[glow=red,2,300]Go Back ( 2 )[/glow] - Barm, Far

[glow=red,2,300]Go Forward ( 1 ) [/glow]- Admiral

It takes 3 votes to move.

My fear is that both Far and Hax are roled. I can't decide who is which... as such, I don't know which way to vote, but I will say Go Back, just in case.

BTW, we really need to start voting for the lynch.

[glow=red,2,300]Go Back[/glow] was supposed to be like this.

Kivam, I agree with you, but the damage was done before I posted, so I went ahead and posted the same suspicion. I think we are all thinking it.
