Man, I'm badass aren't I.

I have to say, I do like Kivam's strategy. It does have its failings of course, but it could work very well.

I'm not going to point out its primary failing because I don't want to give out ideas, especially since I'll be able to post them on the public thread even if I am nightkilled

You are dreaming. The events from the past day form a collage of imagined fears and real regrets. Of emerald jungle, tribesmen, chilling fog and bonestone. Your spirits soared when you found the boats from the Maiden’s Folly waiting for you, but not enough to erase the feelings of doubt over some of your companions. Your body lay exhausted, but your mind races. Slowly you come into consciousness and open your eyes. Boots and clothes are scattered on the floor, sword and pack hanging from the hook where you left them before you collapsed into your bunk. You prop up on one elbow and look out of the porthole; It’s still night outside.  The amber moon casts a warm glow across the waves and you briefly entertain the thought of going up on deck to see who else might be up, but you are very sore and very tired. You lie back in your bunk and let the gentle, rhythmic rocking lull you back into sleep. As soon as your eyes close, you slip into a deep, restful slumber.

*PLEASE SEND IN YOUR NIGHT ACTIONS*

Saltwater spray leaps through the porthole, sprinkling on your face and you wake up to feel the hull heave out of the water, and crash back down into the trough. Bright sunlight streams through the porthole and you feel energized, a hundred times better then the night before. The events from the day before had been harrowing, but that is what you hired on for. The important thing is that the witch has her bonestone and you are on your way to…..Hmm. That makes one question that needs answering. Where you can get a cup of coffee is another. You slip you boots on, and head out on deck where voices are already raised against the crashing of the surf.

“Again Captain, I ask you: what did your watch see!?”

“I’ll answer no questions until I’ve spoken to my men. The next one of you to harrass me spends the rest of the trip in the cage.”

You round the corner and walk right into the Captain. He shoves you off of him with both hands. You land squarely on your backside. He points his finger and leers at you.

“You. Cut her down and throw her overboard. The sharks will take care of the rest.”

You scramble out on deck with the group. It’s hard to miss who the captain was referring to. She has a rope tied around her wrists, hanging from the main mast. Bloodstains run down her shirt from what you are certain is a sliced throat.

Kivam steps up behind you.

“The watch claims to have seen nothing.  They didn’t even report it. I found her myself at dawn. I overheard them say that It’s the same way the assassins have left all of their other victims.”

“It's terrible. Somebody help me get her down.”

Out of respect and sorrow, you climb up and untie the rope holding Talya’s wrists, slowly lowering her down on to the deck. You already knew she was innocent, and a quick search of her things proves nothing different. You wrap her in a spare piece of sail cloth and carry her to the stern. You lower her body slowly until she disappears beneath the wake of the boat. A fine burning anger is building up inside you and having to watch so many good people die is testing your limits. You watch the waters behind the boat for just a second longer before you see the massive fin break the surface, then dive back down.  You cringe, but the lesson it not lost; you never know what’s waiting just below the surface. You suddenly realize that you did not even find out where you are going. And you certainly are not holding a cup of coffee, although it might be wise to find SamVimes and see if he can offer anything stronger…

*NIGHT 1 HAS ENDED. TALYA, A ROLELESS INNOCENT HAS BEEN MURDERD BY THE ASSASSINS*

With 13 players, it takes 8 votes to lynch*

The Thief Play is in effect until the end of the game.

No additional actions have been issued

No pieces of bonestone are in play

Pats self.  I'm alive on day 2?  I'm alive on day 2!

OK, Finder, stay quiet unless you found an evil.

Honestly, I would have said the same thing even if we had all survived - I was trying to draw fire at one of the 3 of us (me, Talya, Rufae) to up the likelihood of a successful healing.

FYI, the "night" activity was (living and unknown players only):

2. Far Dareis Mai - ii

3. Good Grief - i

5. Sinister Death - ii

9. Cleopatra - 0

11. Jackdaw - iii

12. Haxorsist - 1

13. Vemynal - ii

14. Ms. Danya - 0

18. Loki - 0

What are the numbers then? I see I'm number 1. Does that mean I'm cool? :)

I think it means Kivam wants a hug.

the numbers are the numbers on Wes' list on P. 1.

The iii's are numbers of posts at night (1 "i" per post)

Why aren't you on that list? (asside from you being a confirmed innocent?) :P

I just have to wonder, what does posting during the night phase, really have to do with anything?

It be like saying 'posting durin the day  means your innocent!

*edit*

You also forgot rufae, who isn't a confirmed innocent.
