4 Villagers Remain. SboydW is the final Pirate. He has to be.

 

Alys used her one time finder to proclaim the Dude innocent before she died, and I, the doc protected GoodGrief last night. Nobody died last night, and I highly doubt that it was because of any slacking on the Mafia's part. Boyd targeted GG and I saved her, I'm certain of that.

 

Therefore, I am going to vote SboydW.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Now you are probably wondering why Winter Mist died the other night... well, here's my reasoning behind not protecting her (sorry Winter Mist). The first day she revealed herself, I protected her because I was supposed to, I however felt that Alys or the Dude would die, because the mafia would know that Winter Mist was being protected, Talya can confirm this, I told her in the PM I sent her that night. Alys did die, unfortunatly proving me right.

The next night I decided that the mentality would be the same general idea, and that they would probably want to rid themselves of the Dude, knowing that Winter Mist was untouchable, so I protected him.

Its purely my fault that she died, as I guessed wrong on what was going to happen. It wasn't meant to be any slacking, my appologies once again.

i thought boyd might be the one too actually. you'll notice he was the last vote on the last pirate to get hanged. little bit of subterfuge there....

 

i vote for boyd too. let's git 'er done.

I expected the final pirate to show up on Zy's lynch fairly early on seen as how he was already doomed and being caught on the 'not-voting' list could land him getting lynched by default. I didn't say that at the time for fear of scaring them off.

But of my two suspects Boyo leapt on rather late, putting him closer to Toy on the suspicion list and ultimately leading me to choose Toy. Should have voted Boyo yesterday.

 

And for the record: If Barmy turns out to be the pirate, I didn't totally fail to see it coming: Sira set the stage by proclaiming over and over how sacrificing a team mate goes against everything she knows works. When she is sprung, Barmy jumps on the lynch fairly early, even though it could go either way. Even after the Sira lynch, and now even after the Zy lynch, it is a close run game, and this strategy makes the 'turncoat' almost invulnerable until it comes down to the endgame (would have been today if I wasn't saved).

 

But there's no way I would claim a role if that's what I was doing. So I'm fairly confident this time :D

Just a fun fact, after that first day with all the early blooming analysts, I protected Sirayn, as I didn't really have a clue as to who would be better to protect. Sorry Kivam. I should have thought of you.

Day 1 Lynch- Kison (Alys, Kivam, GoodGrief, Dude, Boyo, Zy)

 

Night 1- Kivam is night killed

 

Day 2 Lynch- Sirayn (Winter Mist, Dude, Alys, Barmy, GG, Boyo)

 

Night 2- Alys is night killed

 

Day 3- Zylalzo- (Winter Mist, Barmy, Good Grief, Boyo)

 

Night Three- Winter Mist is killed

 

Day 4 Lynch- Toy and Minion ( Good Grief, Barmy, Boyo)

 

Night 4- no one killed

 

So now it’s just GG, Barmy, Dude, and myself. Who is evil?

 

My vote is on The Dude. He voted to kill the first member of his evil team because she had been discovered by the (later confirmed) sheriff Winter Mist. So for the night kill that night he has a choice does he kill the “one time finder” with the other role or does he kill a player who could be the finder be cause she fingered an evil, even though Sirayn was thought evil by most everyone anyways, so it wasn’t much of a revelation. He kills Alys who for sure has a role. But that night the sheriff views his other team mate Zy and finds him evil. But he doesn’t vote for Zy, maybe hoping that the vote will turn. But it doesn’t and his partner is killed. So that night he kills the confirmed sheriff Winter Mist. Now he’s just left to finish off the rest of the crowd hoping not to be discovered.

... Or not. Alys was innocent. We know this. Even you do not dispute this. Nor do you dispute her one-time-finder power. So why do you dispute her findings? She said the Dude was innocent.

Nice try, buddy. Acting desperate does you no favours, especially when you throw together a theory without checking the facts.

 

Nor does the Dude voting for Sira when things were not certain and not voting for Zy when things were stack up with him being evil.

 

Next time, point the finger at me for being a driving force behind both our innocent lynches (Kison and Toy) who has nonetheless survived, possibly by the same strategy I speculated about with Barmy as the last pirate. Or you could have jumped on what I said about Barmy and nodded your head and said 'yeah!' and tried to get a lynch going there. But you did neither of things. Sure, they probably wouldn't have worked, but did you have to go for the most concrete innocent we have?

 

Frankly, I'm disappointed.

Actually, I'm saying that I think that her onetime finder thing was a crock. Not that she wasn't innocent.

After finding that they were all alive the villagers set straight to working out who could be the final pirate, knowing this would be their last chance. The voting stated and soon three of them were ganging up on SBoydW. He tried to proclaim his innocence but they were not listening. The quickly dragged him to the now infamous tree and hung him high till he was dead. They looked arouns alittle stunned at how quick they had done it, he hadn't admitted to being the Pirate. Panic reached them as the ran to his house and knocked down the door. The searched the house and found nothing. Barmy being angry kick a wall infrustration, sure he had worked it out right. As he did this a trap door opened revealing steps down into a cellar. They all went down and found the rest of the treasure. It was only then they were sure they had got the final pirate. In fact it was Blackbeard him self had been lynched.

 

That evening, a posse of lawmen entered the village to find the lynched villagers and the brutally murdered ones. But they found a few missing. Barmy, The Dude and GoodGrief had followed the cellar which came out in a cove, where the ship sat waiting. The pilied the loot aboard and set sail to live happily ever after on the Fiddles Isle in the south seas never to be seen in again.

 

Well Done the Good team you have won and the pirates have lost. :lol:

hey, kison, hope there's no hard feelings. i had a bad hunch that time, and i decided to try a little mind game. your vehemence was ringing wrong with me. the more insistent you got, the more it sounded like you weren't on the level, and the more i tried to provoke you. just a game ploy, man. cool?

 

i'd say that over all, given how close-run it ended up being, that both sides played well enough. if boyd had chosen someone else to kill on the last night, things would have gone differently.

Can I just say thanks to everyone for making my first modding of a game really good fun and you all played well.

 

I was however disappointed in my role of Village Idiot. I ha a whole lot of scenerios worked out depending on his night action. But Toy was unexpectedly LOA so I didn't get any night actions from him so for two rounds he was unable to vote. The time he did got The Dude unable to vote for that round(he did a good job of the sick bit I might add :D )

 

It went like this.

 

If he picked the same name as the pirates....he was killed instead of the other person.

 

If he picked the same name as the seer....he would be viewed instead.

 

If he picked the same as the doc....he would be saved instead.

 

If he should pick the same as the evil and the doc, then he would take the save and the other person would still have been killed.

 

If he picked a name no one did they would lose a vote the next day and if he didn't vote he lost his vote.

 

However he didn't know what would happen I kept it too myself.

 

Alys was a parrot and had to post a certain number of times a day but had one night veiwing.

And I can tell you poor Sira was in pain after she took her vote off Zy and knew she shouldn't have done it, She told me and then Kivam came up with his view......so uncanny to get two evil pinned on day one.

Nice going to the innocents! Yay! Great going! My, oh my, did I feel the adrenaline when Sira counter-claimed my role! *hugs Sira lots* Whoo, that was good! I was always going to investigate Sira on the first night on a personal hunch, and I was clutching at straws when I asked to view Zylazlo, also on a hunch.

 

Don't worry about the not-protecting thing, Barmy - we won - that's all that matters! *grins and toasts everyone*
