How are you all doing? It's a new month again. Time really flies. Let's talk about Star Wars. You get points for signing in and also points for posting something Star Wars related. Do you have a favourite movie or character? Thoughts about the newer movies? (I guess no spoilers for The Rise of Skywalker, even though most have seen it by now.)

 

Disney+ has not come to my country yet but I´m looking forward to see the Mandalorian and baby Yoda. I hear a lot of good things about the show. Too bad Pedro Pascal has his helmet on all the time but it's still Pedro. And of course, it has baby Yoda. How can you not like him. Look at those eyes. 

 

I didn't enjoy The Rise of Skywalker as much as I had hoped (even though I didn't have a lot of expectations) but there were some good scenes. What I like most about the newer movies is Kylo Ren. A great villain, played by a great actor. 

 

I thought I was going to leave the Star Wars franchise after the latest film but then I hear a lot about the Mandalorian and now they are doing a Obi Wan show with Ewan McGregor!!! I just love him. So I'm stuck with Star Wars for a few more years. ?

Star Wars, loved the OT, had the PT ruined by Jar, Jar and the dreadful acting of Christensen, the ST was ok but it would have been better with the same Showrunner for all 3 movies and a less messy plot, think the last movie should have been 2 movies. 

looking forward to Ewen doing the Obi Won show, could be good. But i think its time to get out of the Skywalker era, there is 20,000 years of history tied up in SW and yet every film and TV show so far has been set in one 60 odd year period. Would love to see something set in the days of the Old Republic and give the Show runner some freedom to be more creative.

The Mandolorian is definitely worth watching, bit surprised Disney hasn’t sold it to someone in your country then. Yea i think they should have lost the Helmet.

I'm a bigger fan of the OT. PT was decent, and we'll ST....i won't go into that. 

 

Have to say I always enjoyed the animated Clone Wars Series and am glad they decided to properly complete it. Need to see the latest episodes, but I've seen clips.
