If we accept the Lore, I'm willing to bet Marsh is Barry Dorgan it's the ONLY character I see that could fit the watcher role.

Just for the sake of explaining my thoughts on your pairing

Larry Underwood is one of the major characters in the novel. During his character arc he falls for two women, the first being Nadine Cross (who is being manipulated by the Big Bad of the book, and betrays the good guys) and then later Lucy Swann

 

So there's a lot of WIFOM in having a lover role where one side is Larry Underwood. That's just my spec. I'm not like condemning you for flavor reasons, there's like 3-4 people I would rather lynch than you :P
