Yes, I'm literally talking about #1-4 on the roster.  It's slot based, and I said I didn't care how it was selected.  

 

DPR has had maybe the strongest reaction to it, which fits his need to meddle too much as a wolf but isn't enough to warrant real suspicion.

 

Tripped is very cautious and methodical.  I'm liking them a lot so far.

 

Most others have been null or neutral at the least.

 

BFG is probably still a wolf here, unless Wes is.

Jury's still out (at least until I'm sober), but for now I am leaning towards the town side, though if you were truly out to do a social experiment with all of us you could probably do this flamboyant scum play, it's just that I've never seen you do anything similar, so, yeah, probably just town.

DPR suggested that he didn't see anyone on the roster who if teamed with Darthe would probably go along with the idea in his first post.  So I asked who might be willing to go along with it as a teammate, and that's the list I got back.  What I thought was interesting was Darthe jumping in suggesting that DPR would actually be most likely on the roster to go along with it, but DPR didn't comment on that at all.

Does this seem to you like chainsaw defense of BFG, or like he is trying too hard?  Idk how to really qualify it.

DPR the way I know him (we have like 4-5 games together now?) is kind of a wildcard, perhaps especially as a wolf. I don't really know a good way to read him.

If so, I dunno. I prefer to make my reads when I'm actually communicating with people, and the amount of people I've communicated with so far is extremely low.

Not sure what you mean by chainsaw defense.  I guess I was trying to get a feel for why he included BFG in the list given you were pushing her straight out of the gates.  It seemed like an odd stance to take, especially if he's wolf reading you right now.  Because I kind of agree with Sooh that's not impossible, but not particularly likely because it seems like a weird play so early in the game to push a teammate.  So if he thinks you're a wolf then either the comment about BFG didn't take into account you were pushing a teammate, or he thinks BFG is town, in which case, I'm not sure why she's in the list?

Let me ask a different question that may help.

 

If dpr thought I didn't believe my own stance then why did he think I'd stand by attempting to resolve from only slots 1-4?

I know. But tbf I have pointedly said I would intentionally try to talk less and read more as I think it helped me a lot last game towards the end and joined with the understanding that this would be happening.

 

So you’ll just have to adjust and read me off my thoughts versus my presence.

This feels like the threads being overwhelmed with what feels like a semantic argument that is distracting.   Who cares about this... each player will play the way they want to play and do their own thing.

Ah, okay.  Yeah, I can see why you thought that.  I was mostly thinking about it more strategywise on a more global scale rather than specifically in this instance, which would mean either he's wolf and included himself in the pool of 4, which would negate my argument about there being no wolves in the pool, or he's town and I shouldn't suspect him for suggesting it (but there still might not be any wolves in his pool).

So it’s not so much whether or not the plan is good, but whether Darthe presents it as a way to look like he’s thinking outside the box or just really thinks this could maybe do some good.

 

Its a stark change from his play last game which was pretty reserved, but Darthe is pretty self aware imo.

 

I think the whole thing is pretty null and not something I’m particularly interested in chasing.

This argument feels very similar to Scum!DPR's approach to Town!Dice last game.

 

It feels like DPR was laying the steps to place as a vote is the best I can explain it.  It doesn't feel organic.

Ah. Okay, I see what you're saying.  Not sure.  Do you think he's just being nitpicky, or do you think he's trying to find something to make you look bad?

 

Tbf, I did sort of question why you were commenting on people outside of your top four, but I sort of shrugged it of as you thinking something along the lines of "my idea isn't gaining traction, going to keep looking at other people."

 

I am curious why DPR kept pursuing why your idea was wrong though.  Is he normally someone who will latch onto things like that and just keep bull dogging it even after everyone else has kind of moved on?

Without knowing Zander, I think it looks ~okay that he's a bit suspicious of your town read on him.  I have no idea if wolf!zander is likely to shrug off a town read or not.  I can easily see a world where town!zander probably does look at someone a bit squinty for an easy town read if he thought you were serious about it, especially since he hadn't done much up to that point.
