My thought here is that you've documented that you were actively thinking about it for 23 hours, and IMO, a 5 person pool would have widened the net a bit on D1 when info is especially scarce, increasing the chances of a catch on D2 with a smaller pool. I think it's fair to say that he within his Town and Wolf meta by posting what he did. 

 

Which he knows. Which begs the question, why is he so aggressive this early? 

 

He's definitely capable of launching a big plan this early,  but it would risk burning scummates and this does not feel like the game to risk that. Looking at the roster, I don't *think* I see a world where a scum team would agree to him launching a plan like this. 

 

 

I think regardless of Darthe's alignment, the plan was his idea alone, and I don't think the plan is alignment indicative.

FTR - I don't remember who said it - but DPR is super game tech oriented, so either way he comments on Darthe's idea.  I don't think it's alignment-oriented.

 

I think his vote for Darthe is more of a wolf move.

So it’s not so much whether or not the plan is good, but whether Darthe presents it as a way to look like he’s thinking outside the box or just really thinks this could maybe do some good.

 

Its a stark change from his play last game which was pretty reserved, but Darthe is pretty self aware imo.

 

I think the whole thing is pretty null and not something I’m particularly interested in chasing.

honestly, skill only matters when you're looking at a broad scale of games. In any single game, any one player can outshine all others. Just give it your all and regardless of the outcome, feel good after the game finishes.

I see it as exactly opposite - it's currently just been a discussion, but there is zero chance that it was not meant to be more. 

 

Darthe is very well aware of the attention that sort of post will bring. The only question in my mind is whether he did it as a DartheTrap or because he thought he could use to insulate himself. Either way he's looking to establish new meta and I think it's a good idea to ask "why?".

Not true. I've pointed out multiple reasons why his proposal benefits scum more than town (limits the discussion to fewer players, uses timing to shield certain players, creates a false narrative that there is "Day 1 chaos") and I speculate that this is a "go big or go home" plan.

 

I'm realistic about it - chances are high that it's just shenanigans. But I like to get everyone's view on it.
