seems to not have much of a drive to do things on his own, most of his thread drops have been responding to things about him

 

there's also one thing i remember being a very big factor of his village game that's totally absent here

ok my thoughts on bg were just that this is a really vague way of describing suspicion.  It's so general that you can't really refute it, but it never digs into any specific action that leads him to think this way.  Pot/kettle but I expect more from people who are just going to pop in a few times a day to 1-shot their updated reads.  I was hoping for a voluntary follow-through later on but didn't see one.

And then it goes back to is this scum playing it safe or is this just a low-effort villager, and there's only so much effort I'm willing to put into that when it applies to such a large portion of the field

 

From a generic standpoint I think most low volume scum include a partner in their wolf reads.

 

But if I whisper AJ enough I'm just going to convince myself I'm tunneling and fail to actually follow through on it.

I just liked his willingness to engage with me and it's not like scum can't do that but I'd rather kill someone who's done nothing.

AJ tends to "big game hunt" as a villager and it generally takes him a long time to feel some trust for higher volume villagers (like moi) or at least he interacts with them very directly to try and improve the read

 

He just seems way too comfortable with me in a way I can't explain very well

 

And I also think he'd be pretty pumped to play this game as a villager, especially in a game state where he thought we were v/v. It's typically pretty easy for me to get a v read on him when he's a villager, at least.

I mean, I love the guy and think he's a tremendous player, but I don't know how I feel about him both A) mailing it in and B) seeming very content with the threadstate, especially in a game that's this wolfsided at start

 

Feel like he'd have started blooming by now. i remember jotting down in my "AJ reading handbook" that he struggles the most as a wolf in the earlygame and gets better as the game goes on ... I feel like I should listen to the handbook

If all else fails, I'll be here to EoD if I need to switch my vote, it's not like votes really matter until the final counts

 

But it's pretty common to have large late vote surges here, sometimes called CFDs ("chinese fire drills") as opposed to more steady 1 vote-at-a-time wagons

 

I'm also not afraid to canvas people to get the lynch I want if I feel it's worth doing so

If Lenlo is a villager and AJ is a wolf, I think what I'm doing is perfectly fine :P
